When supporting one of our patients to a GP appointment, an older gentleman had a cardiac arrest in the waiting room. This was frightening for both our patient and Mystialeigh. Mystialeigh managed the situation, comforting and supporting our patient. She always cares deeply, and works effectively to provide the best person-centred support.
Due to a recent maintenance issue where staff were required to stay behind for the safety of a service user until this could be fixed, Khurram offered to stay behind until this could be fixed and was offering solutions if this was not the case. Khurram ensures the service user was supported while this was fixed and ensured the safety of all.
Molly has recently supported a service user with an MRI. Molly has built a strong and trusting relationship with this service user, and was specifically requested by the service user to support him. Molly encouraged him to attend the scan despite him feeling anxious, and helped to calm him. Thank you Molly!

Debs has been at Beacon House since it’s opened, and although I’ve only worked at Beacon House 1/13 of her years, from what I’ve seen, she is passionate about our individuals. There has been many times when she’s come to work outside her shift as she was worried there wouldn’t be enough staff on snow days, showing her passion and hard work.
