I recently visited the Stevenage site and Lance was asked to show me around the site. In the three hours that he took around me the site his passion, positivity and all round personality shone through, not only with me but the way he greeted every service user. Lance is a real asset to Stevenage.
Rachel is a long standing and well respected member of staff who will go out of her way to help you if you have a problem.If Rachel says she’s going to do something then she will do it. She is a fixer of problems both big and small and always has time for you. She is also a very good listener which is a great to skill to have in care work.
Clare is outstanding at every thing she does and so brilliant with all service users. She has such good relations with the families of service users too, and always finding ways to contribute to Broughton House or charities with events she organises. Nothing seems too much for Clare, and her Christmas wreaths she made and sold were amazing.
We did an Xmas rock & roll bingo and Caroline went above and beyond to get the prizes prepared for the event. She knitted stockings, wrapped some hot chocolate & marshmallows up and put them inside the stocking alongside some chocolates and candy canes – she even did separate ones for those who couldn’t eat certain sweets. We are lucky to have her.
Stacey brings admirable passion to her work supporting service users. Her resiliency and positive engagement is inspiring.
She is always of good cheer and enthusiastically support colleagues to ensure best outcomes for people supported.
Kelsey has sprung into action over the Christmas period, her love for this season has shun through. She has trimmed the tree to a standard which is fit for the north pole. Putting pen to paper she has drawn elves, made decoration and sang Christmas songs along the way.
The home is so festive and beautiful for the residents and staff. First class.
Aisha currently works at Wast Hills and is picking up lots of additional tasks due to there being some challenges with recruitment into the psychology team. Aisha always has a very positive attitude and has been able to continue providing excellent psychology work. Aisha is well valued by all the team at Wast Hills and the wider Midlands region.
For all Seannes hard work and unpaid hours in creating and hosting a Christmas choir concert for all the service users in the west Yorkshire region.
It was a wonderful, magical show. That has already been re-booked for 2024!
Since transferring to Spencer Ward, Ciro’s passion, motivation and positivity has had an incredible impact on the level of engagement and interaction from individuals on the ward. As part of a mission between Ciro and individuals on the ward, they made a plan to raise money for Great Ormond Street. Ciro completed a 55k run from Sheffield to Leeds.
Sally works very hard in ensuring psychology tasks and processes are completed to a high standard, whilst also completing work involved with QFP Trainee role. Sally also works hard as an MDT member and is very helpful to all others she works with. Sally’s approach to work is consistently demonstrates a high standard and professionalism.
Beth has started a new psychology service at a new hospital (Maple House) and has already provided extensive training and support for all the staff who work at the service. Beth is always willing to help the team with any task and has already introduced reflective practice and other staff CPD events to help staff develop their knowledge and skills.
Diane has recently taken on the new role of carer lead at Appletree. She has already went above and beyond in this role. Diane has put her heart and soul into researching, planning and educating the team/patients/carers. She has spent countless hours working hard to build a team at Appletree to help our patients carers, we couldn’t be prouder!
