I would like to nominate Tolu because of his good communication with residents. There was a day i supported a resident with Tolu. The resident was non verbal and he was unsettled as well. Tolu used his makaton skills and calm tone to communicate with the residents as the resident became settled.
Gemma has shown great passion in her role, she has taken great pleasure in arranging Cygnet social care (east midlands) Disco, all our local service were invited and attended. This isn’t an activity our service users can usually attend due to their complex needs. So a disco with other service users has been a massive hit. Thank you and well done
Ugo, usually on nights, picked up a day shift and supported a service user who struggles with unfamiliar faces. His strong bond was clear when the service user asked Ugo not to leave his side—despite usually preferring space. Ugo’s care and consistency have built real trust. Well done, Ugo!
