Lloyd has been with the company 15+ years as a Team Leader of the Service.
Myself, Cara has worked with Lloyd for almost 10 of these years and he has been the biggest support to myself and taught me a lot in that time. Lloyd has the best intentions for the service users and the service themselves and will always put them first going above and beyond daily. I have been covering maternity leave for the service manager which is something i have never done before, but having Lloyd by my side every step of the way pushing and striving for more and always offering a helping hand when needed. Lloyd has been a rock over the past few months and that trusting relationship that we have built is only having a positive influence on the service as we both want the same thing. A big thank you.
Lucie joined the Oaks as a newly qualified OT 6 months ago and in that short period she has gone from strength to strength. Lucie received outstanding 360 feedback at her 6 month probation which demonstrated her exceptional professional skill and also how valued she is by her colleagues from all disciplines. Lucie has volunteered to become the OT student co-ordinator for the South Yorkshire Region – this is a task which even experienced OT’s may feel daunted by, and yet Lucie has taken on this extra responsibility with enthusiasm and pride. Not only this, Lucie has also volunteered to be clinical supervisor to an OT apprentice from another Cygnet hospital who was in desperate need of a clinical supervisor (due to OT recruitment issues at their site) and she has excelled in this despite this being her first student. Lucie has been an incredible support to her supervisor and to the colleagues around her. She is an exceptional OT and it has been a pleasure to see her grow in skills in confidence. Lucie takes everything in her stride and embraces all tasks with positivity and enthusiasm, regardless of how challenging it may be. Lucie is progressing brilliantly through her preceptorship and she truly deserves this award.
On my visits to Gledholt and the Mews, Matthew has shown great passion in his work as Cook. From enthusiastically coming in to speak to all guests to inform us of the menu options personally, to presenting recipes beautifully. Not only this engaging with all visitors on the day to see how we found the food and to gain feedback is professional and shows great love for the role. All recipes made to order based on what food is left in stock and still making it taste amazing and present like a Michelin star restaurant shows the innovation and passion he has for cooking. Really a fresh of breath air and truly in awe!
Nilisha has been very supportive during a critical and constricted time period for the CAMHS psychology team as the team was low in numbers due to people leaving/ going on leaves. She ardently stepped up and covered the therapeutic and admin work for other wards in addition with managing the work on her own ward. She kept the boat sailing for the team to a great standard and I would like to thank her for her exceptional hard work and resilience.
Sahar recently engaged in a care formulation session where she expressed great knowledge and insights into a service user who was new to our service. She was able to make links between his early life experiences and his current presentation, demonstrating compassion and understanding. Sahar spoke of difficulties the service user faced with such sensitivity, and considered ways that we could support the service user to overcome of the difficulties. Thank you, Sahar!

The work in service can sometimes go on forever at night, but not while Mr. Idris is working. He usually approaches each task with concentration and a sense of humour, and he never gives up until he ensures that it is finished. Mr. Idris frequently eases his coworkers with funny jokes and enjoys bringing them along. Weldone Mr Idris.
