After a recent challenging week for one of our residents, Boxy supported the team and provided consistency for the resident by working for many days in the same area. He was always willing to step in and provide the best support to the resident and his colleagues. Resulting in everyone staying safe. Well done Boxy.

In addition to being a dedicated member of the ward team on Primrose Ward, Stephania recently helped the Occupational Therapy team deliver a successful celebration event for Africa Day on CAMHS. Stephania shared with us some of her favourite recipes and worked with the Occupational Health team and the young people to make food for the event. Thanks Stephania! 🙂

Jaimee was taking an individual out when an idea was proposed to take him and another person out for a pub lunch as well. They don’t go out to the pub usually but on this occasion Jaimee encouraged and reassured them and made the trip a success. She even phoned the pub before to ensure they had lasagne on the menu specifically for one individual.
Aimme came to Outwood due to us being understaffed. Aimme had a very positive attitude towards learning all about the resident that she was supporting and put 100% effort into making the day enjoyable for them by arranging some activities in the community that were meaningful to her.
My sincere appreciation for your hard work and dedication as an occupational therapist assistant. Beyond your work with patients, you bring such positive energy to the team. Especially evident during the Summer Fun Day name and the decorations for the Euro Stars football initiation. Keep doing the good work.Thank you
Olivia helped an individual at Beckly when a problem with his phone bill was noticed. Olivia noticed as the number on the bill was the old number. She phoned the company and got it all sorted communicating with them and the individual throughout. The individual wanted to recognise Olivia for the help communicating the issue and complaining.
