Lee recently spent 7 weeks at another Cygnet site to offer support and guidance as a TL. Lee worked extremely hard to share knowledge and experience to enhance others knowledge and help streamline working practises. Lee remained positive throughout despite additional travelling and being out of his comfort zone. Management are proud of Lee!
Jackie has used her initiative and using her skills in interior design to dress two of our vacant bedrooms so that they look inviting and relaxing to prospective residents.
She goes above and beyond in helping anyone in the house.
Rachael has been knows for pioneering and championing fun events here at cygnet Oldbury. her dedication to raising awareness (e.g Cancer support events/fund raisers) has been unwavering. Rachel with the help of the other receptionists plan these events and encourage staff to participate. she has a passion for these things and is not afraid to show it. In December of 2024, Rachael lunched several Christmas related events that ended up raising funds for children with autism forum. she is currently planning the race for life and mud walk event in June 2025, to raise funds for cancer patients and those suffering with dementia.
i think she deserves some nonrecognition for all the voluntary hard-work she puts into these.

The last month has been challenging with the volume of new starters in recruitment and Francis has been both resilient and supportive in meeting our needs which have been last minute. I really appreciate the lengths he has gone to so that we can onboard as planned.
The Outwood Night Team- We have had shifts consistently available due to being unable to recruit to them for a variety of reasons. Over the last year this team have worked so hard to ensure that the shifts are covered, they work together to ensure consistency for the residents as well as to support each other. Their hard work has meant that we very rarely run short and we always can meet the needs of the residents. They are a great team and a great support to the effective running of the service.
A fantastic friend and amazing colleague. Megan is All go-No quit and its her attitude and enthusiasm she brings to the ward that makes its such a positive environments. Ensuring patients needs are met and staff are well supported to do their job is why Megan is deserved this award. Megan is a credit to Cygnet, and Haywood ward. Our unsung hero.
Feven is almost always at work, whether she is on site or not. She often completes her shift at Raglan House, then goes home to start another shift doing audits, care plans etc. She is always available if staff needs her. Staff calls and she picks her phone up regardless of the time. The best bit is, she does it with a smile.
Beulla was the first nurse on scene to a recent incident on site, and after a hard week of personal concerns, this was something which must have be both hard for her and for her team. Beulla was a leader in the situation, and sought support from others and completed debriefs and gave support to those who needed this most. Well done Beulla.
Mavis continues to work as a team player daily. Mavis is always a positive member of her team and responds well to changes when having to accommodate individuals care on the day. Mavis always adapts to her role and continues to be productive throughout her shift. Mavis can always be relied on to cover shifts when colleagues call in sick, she never seizes to amaze her colleagues with her generosity and kindness. Long may she continue to be thoughtful, caring and adaptable.
