
Saka works with one of our more challenging residents ,who has been visit by two ladies. Loves to watch her routines and behaviours .they both gave feedback on Saka and said he worked well with the resident and followed routines and activities and also gave her reassurance and empathy when needed during episodes of Anxiety well done .
John has been recently promoted to SSW. We receive constant comments from both staff and patients that he consistently excels in whatever task he needs to carry out. Nothing is too much for John. He’s a wonderful example of a SSW
Her ability to engage residents that are difficult to engage is incredible. Today she engaged a resident, who often finds it difficult to even leave her bedroom, all morning in the sensory room. Her exceptional handwork and dedication has had a really positive impact on the resident, the family and colleagues. Thank you, you’re amazing Ada.
Maria worked very hard to help a service in mental health crisis. She liaised with the MDT, family members and ensure a smooth transition. The social worker involved mentioned that Maria hand gone ‘above and beyond’ in supporting the service user.
Kasim regularly picks up shifts on the opposite team and this is of great use as it enables him to communicate thoughts and ideas through to both teams and ensures that we are all on the same page within our roles. Kasim also makes time for new starters and is what i would consider to be a very valued member of staff with the patience of a saint.
Courtney is fun to work with not only when she’s bouncing on and off the walls but as a support worker, she comes up with great ideas to keep service users busy and communicates well with them, which is a great learning opportunity for us guys. She creates an amazing positive atmosphere within the work place and I love working with her 🙂
She will put everyone interests first and will go above and beyond to support service users. She will do everything around the house and support team leaders when she is on support if needed. She is energetic, passionate and very hard working. She is an inspiration to work with, well done and keep up the hard work!
We have recently had a new service user move in and Jack has been working closely with them as part of their core team, Jack also travelled to there previous service in leeds to complete transition and shadow shifts. Jack has been supporting the new service user for the majority of his shifts,been sharing information & useful tips with team
Alfie has recently delivered Trauma Informed Care in forensic services training to the staff team – which was received fantastically, with lots of praise, energy and enthusiasm for working with our service users. His passion for such care was evident throughout training and works with this in mind always.
Megan always puts individuals first ensuring their needs of support are met to a high standard. She adapts her approach accordingly to meet individuals needs. She is not afraid to get involved with activities, if an individual is outside dancing she will be right at the side of them dancing with them promoting a positive environment.
We had the Midlands LD Psychology Meeting at the Beeches and Denice made us the most delicious lunch. This was a lovely and truly brightened everyones day. To ensure that this was so amazing Denice came into work early to make quiche and lots of other lovely delights. Denice definately made the meeting so enjoyable.
Ammie has developed in her confidence & knowledge & has supported the implementation of patient of the month where she will spend time with the staff team answering any questions about patients. Ammie has been excellent at supporting individuals discharges. Ammie’s warmth & sense of humour is a great asset to the team.
