Natalya showed excellent relationship building with a patient who usually does not trust or engage with services. Through building this trusting relationship, Natalya was able to build an excellent psychological formulation and help the home team understand the patients needs, leading to the development of a tailor made care pathway.
Michelle has worked at Toller Road for many many years! She has always been a vital member of the team here.
In the last year Michelle has taken over as activity coordinator and has really thrown herself into the challenge. The service users outings have been a main focus for her and its lovely to see them going on trips and out to discos!!

Lauren is always happy to step in to cover reception when needed. In addition she also recognises that it can be quite stressful at times even though we are not working on the wards. She uses her own break time to cover us at the weekend for a quick comfort break and even brings a cup of tea when it is safe to do so. The little things mean a lot.
I cut my finger in the car park and visited the reception to ask for a plaster. Whilst it was a minor cut, I felt that Lucy really cared and was very empathetic in her approach in supporting me. I have not met Lucy prior to this and felt she was above and beyond in her approach and extremely welcoming. I feel this demonstrates the comfort value.
We recently had a service user diagnosed with blood cancer and has required numerous hospital appointments where he wanted myself and Hardy to attend. Hardy has re arranged her schedule and come in on annual lave days to ensure this gentlemen feels supported and has had her present at all appointments.
Damian always has a positive attitude to work, he is always flexible, he is trained in phlebotomy and has come in on his annual leave to take the bloods of a gentleman that was very unwell and would not trust anyone else to take them, he supports the rest of the team and always ensures that we have cups of tea when times are difficult
Gemma goes above and beyond in her role on a day to day basis always ensuring the best for the patients within our care. Which has been confirmed by a note that has been left by a SU for Gemma upon discharge which states the following. “Gemma, thank you for genuinly caring about me and taking stuff on that wasnt even your job. You’re amazing”.
Rebekah made sure that all the staff and residents at Outwood felt the love on Valentine’s Day and organised a Valentine’s day party, with a cake hand made from home, party food, gifts and activities. Everyone had fun and had a great time! Thanks Rebekah!
Sylwia is an amazing chef – she creates spectacular food. She is also skilled in making appealing food that takes account of patients IDDSI levels and other nutritional needs. She takes the time to speak to the patients to iclude their preferences. She is very flexible, creating beautiful meals at short notice, if unexpected needs arise.
