Nazia is an amazing senior support worker here at Gledholt Mews. Nazia is extremely hard working and she has a big fun personality, it is hard to have a bad day when she is in the building. The residents love her being on shift even when she is screeching on the karaoke, and that’s saying something!
Karen has been on a Christmas baking spree! We have mince pies coming out our ears at Hawkstone House. She scaled support and engagement for 3 different service users getting them involved in the baking process in ways that were appropriate to their individual care needs. She is always thinking about how the residents can get involved & have fun!
Tomi was supporting a resident who was meant to be going on a day trip with other service users. Due to their train being cancelled the resident couldn’t attend. Tomi took the time to arrange an alternative trip for them and ensured they had an enjoyable fun filled day. Tomi mentioned he had been thinking of an alternative for a few days already.
I would like to nominate Dee for helping out with my job role while I have been off ill for some time. She has done a fantastic job at making sure everything is present and correct. Thank you so much for making my return to work less stressful 🙂
Samina is always flexible with patients and their families and puts them at the forefront of her care. Trains were cancelled due to weather and a patients’ family were stranded in an evening, so she offered to take them home to London – the patients mum wants to thank Samina for her kindness and going above and beyond for them.
Whenever I need some advice, am a little stressed or unsure about something he is always there to help and give me a rational for my thoughts. He explains things to me and helps me to plan things out without judgement. He will listen when I need to have a chat and get things of my chest. He will also help where needed on the floor.
Assem has just joined our team at Outwood. He was working with a resident who got stuck in there routine however Assem remained calm and let the resident know everything was going to be fine and she started to to trust him and then moved on with her day and seemed happy. He is already becoming a great part to the team.
Thank you Allen for always communicating when there have been times I have needed support with certain information. Allen has supported me not only through emails but also via telephone calls even with his busy schedules.
Allen also prompts communication in HR reviews which management and staff at Walkern Lodge appreciate.
Sahar has built trusting relationships with our service users. She goes above and beyond to support them, having recently supported a vulnerable service user with an MRI scan that was anxiety provoking for them. She is a calm presence, and it is evident that she enjoys her role and spending time with the service users. Thank you, Sahar!
Gbemi has been absolutely fantastic in his role as a support worker on the ward. He constantly receives fantastic feedback from patients on the ward due to his engagement with them. Gbemi is passionate about his role on the ward.
Emmanuel was recently specifically recognised by their colleague Grace, for their support and guidance during their time working at Kirkside Lodge. Well Done. Excellent Teamwork.
John shows compassion within all aspects of his role, he goes above and beyond and it truly dedicated in delivered patient focused care. John continues to work outside of his usual shift pattern to escort patients to their family homes and other important events. John you really are a dedicated and well respected team player, thank you!
