Maxine continuously puts the people we support and staffs needs above her own, even when she has her own personal hardships she always shows up with a smile on her face and a guaranteed laugh. Maxine tackles every challenge head on and is an inspiration to what and how deputy managers should be.
Gary helped out in the kitchen last weekend (22nd and 23rd April), when we had no kitchen staff. He was able to run the kitchen and turn out good wholesome meals for our service users going above and beyond.
He decorated the dining room with lucky cats and played oriental music in the dining room. every service user seemed to enjoy.
I have worked with Natalie for 20 years and she has given continuous support professionally and personally throughout my time with the company. Natalie has provided guidance within my job role to progress to where I am today. I am very thankful to her. Natalie deserves recognition for this.
In a recent physical health emergency in our unit Gail was fantastic – she quickly recognised the significance of the problem, summoning help effectively, monitoring and communicating with the emergency service and creating a calm and positive environment around the frightened patient. Gail is a fabulous nurse!
Keith will go above and beyond for the residents at Hawkstone, making them personalised items (he made a plaque for one the resident who loves trains). Keith will make sure all jobs are done as quickly as possible to create a safe environment for the service users. He will take time out to see how they are and interact with everyone. Thank you!
Jane is an excelled therapist and all YP are really benefiting from the art therapy sessions. She is so empathetic to the YPs and extends her support in all ways possible. She is always available to do a check-in with colleagues. She is always calm and composed. Its a pleasure to work with her.
Paige goes above and beyond on every shift, she is always so supportive of her team and ensures that they are okay throughout their shift, especially when it’s been a challenging day. Paige is often faced with challenging shifts and will stay late to ensure all of her workload is complete and even stays to support the following team if needed.
We have recently had a new service user move in and Nolan has been working closely with them as part of their core team, Nolan also travelled to there previous service in Leeds to complete transition and shadow shifts. Nolan has been supporting the new service user for the majority of his shifts,been sharing information & useful tips with team
Conner is a proactive senior who works nights, communicates well, and takes initiative to complete additional work. He and a colleague set up an archiving system, a testament to his commitment to excellence. He is a valuable member of the team deserving of recognition. His exceptional work ethic is an inspiration to his colleagues.
Rhys who identifies as He/Him is an advocate for pronoun usage within our service.He has taken the front lead with being involved with any of our service users needs in the area of trans rights or lgbtq+ inclusivity. Rhys was at the forefront of any Stonewall related surveys. Rhys is an allie to all at Ellen Mhor.
Leah came to Raglan in December last year as Mental Health Act admin and shortly after gained the role of regional lead. On top of the new environment Leah is also covering the role of Hospital administrator.
Despite being in a new environment and covering not one but THREE roles, Leah has been fantastic, hard working and always approachable!
Lloyd leads the way in team work, he is always happy to help and offer a helpful hand to our home, just recently i asked to borrow his homes van so i can organise a activity for my residents, he sprung into action, diary in hand and booked me in before I could say zipadeedoodah. he is such a credit to the home and to all of his team and residents.
