I’m nominating penny for being a good and supportive manager and going above and beyond to support me during my periods of ongoing sickness. She has been my point of call and has asked/ checked up on me regularly. I’m grateful for her care and support
Pam is someone who always brings a smile and a laugh to the work place, she can turn a slow and down day into something more upbeat and interesting for not only the tenants but the staff too. Pam is a great support worker and a hugely valued member of supported living, I feel this deserves to be recognised.

Aimee has developed a really good relationship with a more reserved service user and has been great in encouraging them to try new activities, including a recent trip to an Alpaca Farm.
I would like to express compliments for Flo, for covering a ward of 14 patients by herself as a preceptor nurse due to nursing staff absence. Flo has managed the ward incredibly well with confidence and competence, she has managed an admission and several incidents over the weekend and has shown resilience to such a high standard.
Zoe chose this job all the way from Scotland, came to a place she did not know and to work far away from everyone she did know. Zoe continues to demonstrate incredible empathy and resilience in her role at Nield House. She is always a pleasure to work with and is always a great sense of warmth on the ward.
Shaunna joined Thornfield as Deputy in September. We were recently re-audited by Speeds and thanks to Shaunna’s oversight of the medication process (& hard work of the Team Leaders) we improved our result by 50%. This isn’t Shaunna’s achievement alone but it would not have been possible without her continuous resilience.
James has faced some challenges over the past year that could have become overwhelming but he has faced them head on and come through the other end. He is truly an inspiration to all of the staff team and his relationship with all of the service users is so nice to see. Well done James!
Hannah and Angel have supported a resident who has currently gone through a difficult period. Each time, they come up with different supportive methods to support the resident with a smile on their face and remain positive about the situation. They have been positive from the start of Gotts Park opening and are passionate for the service.
Phil is Maintenance man at Gables. A Resident bedframe & mattress was due to be delivered at Gables in early hours of Friday afternoon & removal of old bedframe. However, the delivery was delayed & did not arrive until early evening. Phil said he will only go home after assembling the bed as he can’t leave the resident without bed & completed the job.

This has been recognised by his team on shift and senior management.
Very well done for your hard work!
