Gracie, Yamu and Charity supported a resident that lasted a long period of time, she was upset about her sky and was physically aggressive towards staff. Staff supported her and came up with different solutions to de-escalate her and gave her support during this difficult time, staff also supported her mum and reassured her during the situation.
Gracie, Angel and Angie supported a resident during a crisis situation. A resident was laying in a road and then threw her clothes into a river and attempted to dive in. The team responded well to this situation and de-escalated her, giving her their coats and protecting her dignity and preventing her from going into the river. Great work team!
Dr Diana (RC) has recently joined the team at SL and we are in a particularly difficult season with patient’s risk presentations. Diana has attended a number of difficult meetings, and been under a lot of scrutiny due to a particular patient. Diana has showed resilience throughout this time, particularly so when she’s only recently qualified.
