A huge thank you to Paul for supporting the project team in organising the recent user acceptance testing for myPath Apollo at 3 of our Cygnet sites. Paul was key to the success, helping with logistics & onsite support. During our time at Beckton, he supported the team throughout the day and made everyone feel welcome. We thank you for your support
During a medical emergency, Deborah showed outstanding support and teamwork alongside her team to prevent the situation from worsening.
Deborah and her team was able to work together in order to make sure that the service user was safe, whilst managing to ensure that all other service users needs were being met.
Outstanding support and teamwork!
Ayesha has been working with me around Trauma informed care training, this has lead to her ‘volunteering’ to run a masterclass around the subject and she has thrown her self into the new world of digital education and ran an amazing session that taught staff around the subject and agreed for this to be recorded so that future staff can lean.
Keith stayed behind the other day to help me do a fire evacuation as i was unsure how to turn the alarm off. He talked me through the process and was patient. One of the service users was having a incident following this and Keith offered reassurance to help calm them down. Making sure everyone was OK before he left shift.
Today I was painting a residents lounge, I noticed a mess behind his sofa, already under a tight timescale I was very surprised that my colleague Jaimee (without prompting or being asked),cleaned the whole area.
I felt she did this through empathy for the resident and understanding, of my timescale.
She did this without fuss.
Lizzie has been poorly recently and returned to work while still in recovery. Lizzie is always positive, patient focused and resilient even when she isn’t feeling her best. We appreciate everything she does and the passion she has for patient care. Get well soon!
Jenny has been a great support both in the work place and outside. At a time where I was dealing with a bereavement, Jenny has taken her time to check up on me and make sure that there was enough support at work in order for me to deal with everything.
Thank you Jenny 🙂

Sarah is passionate about arranging a Social club for residents living in the Bradford area. She made contact with the three home Managers in Bradford and organised the Christmas party. She booked the venue, arranged for food, DJ and Christmas presents and the Christmas party was a success. Residents from 5 homes were in attendance.
Katie has been extremely supportive in guiding me through my SI level 2 training by taking time out of her own schedule to mentor and offer support. Katie will passionately share her learning with others and be willing to answer any questions. Katie is an inspiration and a real expert with SI!
Andrea always mucks in with everything, will never shy away from a hard job and will always jump into any ongoing incident to help as much as she can. She is always alert to service users needs and emotions and great at comforting and reassuring them to avoid incidents developing in the first place.
Jai was thinking about making Christmas a fun time for residents. He got in contact with a local group who went round care homes to spread Christmas cheer. Jai arranged for the group and they attended Beckly grounds dressed in fun Christmas character costumes and they sang Christmas carols on the grounds and residents were delighted and took pics.
