Tony has gone above and beyond to support one of the patients at the Views. He researches into their interests and makes fun activities relating to her interests, he plans fun outings and promotes positive engagement. Tony makes this patient laugh! Tony is a pleasure on shift and is caring to all staff and patients!
We have a service user that can be very reluctant to engage with household tasks. I noticed that the recycling bins were overflowing. Ugo successfully prompted the service user to help us with emptying the bins and then assist us maintaining hygiene standards by pointing out which areas we needed to clean. I’ve never seen this SU do this Well done!
Today there was some confusion about the venue at its been my first time there in years. Neil Crilly spent 15+ minutes helping me to feel comfortable at Cygnet Woking. He made sure that I had everything I needed to feel safe even arranging keys for me and a second ID badge so I could follow Woking systems. Honestly one of the best greetings I’v had
We have been supporting an individual to move into our home from hospital. The individual finds meeting new people & engaging in activities really difficult. The nurse in charge of the hospital said how amazed she was at Irene’s passion, rapport & comfort she provided & how much it meant to the family; showing all of Cygnet’s values beautifully
Rafiat has shown remarkable growth in supporting residents. Now our go-to support worker who has proven her dedication with patience, empathy and a calm presence making her the number one choice amongst residents during challenging times, fostering a caring environment and setting a standard for compassionate and dependable care. Well done Rafi

Whilst transporting a service user to their new placement Collins supported the discharge team in a successful discharge to their new placement by doing a lot of the driving to get the service user to their new placement, whilst showing great empathy to the service user throughout their journey.
Within 3 hours of my very panicked email advising that my laptop had broken, Adee had built me a temporary replacement laptop. He then drove to the venue of the meeting to deliver and set it up by 11am. Thank you so very much you Adee, you truly went over and above to support me. Also, congratulations on the birth of your daughter!
Anthony has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and hard work, even during challenging times like the transition when the hospital manager was moved to a different hospital. His unwavering support and hard work have not gone unnoticed, as other managers view him as a role model. I believe that Anthony deserves to be recognised.
Cathy recently supported a resident to A+E when his breathing indicated that something might not be right. She stayed with him after her shift until 5am to make sure he had the care he needed due to reduced numbers overnight. The flexibility she showed meant that the resident had continuity of care through a difficult experience. Thank you so much!
Ulyett is our cook at Long Eaton Day Services, she always gets involved and helps to organise internal events/celebrations on site including some fantastic art displays including our dignity tree. Most of our service users are on modified diets and the presentation of her food is always fantastic, making the food appealing and interesting.
Ian went above and beyond his role to plan, prepare and cook a menu of authentic Indian dishes as part of our monthly, themed food nights. He spent hours in the kitchen (even coming in on his day off) to cook some amazing handmade foods. It was great to see him share his passion for cooking with our service users, who loved trying some new foods.
