Taiwo was supporting a resident who was showing anxiety behaviour. The resident attempted to jump from a top banister staircase, Taiwo intervened quickly and prevented this from happening and pulled the resident back to prevent him from being severely injured. Risk assessments have now been able to be put in place for this residents, thanks Taiwo
Joyce Parker is currently going through a restructure and many staff are at risk of redundancy. Magnus has been there supporting all his fellow support workers and attending Joyce Parker on his days off to support the staff who are going through redundancy consultations.
I feel that he needs the recognition he truly deserves.
Kolawole has grown as a support worker over his time at hHawkStone, he has a very good rapport with all the residents and is very passionate about his job, he is a good team player and will always encourage his colleagues. Georgie has been a massive support and help with completing the Risk assessments/obs forms for enhanced obs. This change was implemented quickly for the CTL’s/nursing team. Georgie took this on with no complaints and got on and done it, she has completed these to an extremely high standard like she does with all work, she is a asset to the company.
Kola, Iffy, Ife, Idris, Nathan, Angel and Tayo planned a Nigerian Independence Day at Gotts Park during Black history month. This was celebrated by staff and residents at local services, they did a presentation on the history, culture, language on Nigeria. Food was served from Nigeria and there was music and dance, which was great fun.
Sophie, Taiwo and Ayo went above and beyond their role. They did this by supporting a resident move into Gotts Park, they are not maintenance operatives; however the team worked together to make sure the resident had a smooth transition by making her flat looking amazing and person centred, the resident was thanked the staff for their support.

Bobbie has recently undertaken a significant additional task to her existing role by finalising and publishing the Cygnet Journal. This has been a huge piece of additional work to her clinical responsibilities and is an excellent example of Bobbie’s ability to take on additional responsibilities with tight time frames. Well done Bobbie.
I was supporting a patient who was having a severe flashback with Jade. Jade was hugely empathetic, caring and supportive and remained calm and supported the patient through the experience and after they had come around Jade helped to make the patient feel safe, calm and re-orientated, the amount of care and empathy was exemplary and second to none.
