We are looking for a confident Team Leader with a passion for delivering outstanding care, to join us at Cygnet.
You’ll be working 42 hours a week (with on call responsibilities), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care across our North West Supported Living Services. We require a driver, with access to own car and be flexible to work across all North West Supported Living services including Macclesfield, Preston, Wigan, and Warrington.
We support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. Individuals are supported to hold their own tenancy agreement with a registered housing association. Individuals who are interested in living here may have previously been detained within a hospital setting and are ready for a step down placement within their local community.
This role is equivalent to that of a Deputy Manager, therefore your day-to-day could include the following, …
- Incident reviewing
- Care plan and risk assessments
- Supervision of staff
- Responding to on call requirements
- Direct management of teams
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs
- Report on medical & welfare needs as required
- Safeguard
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for all

You are…
- Qualified in Leadership and Management Level 3 or above
- Driver, with access to own car and be willing to work across all North West Supported Living services including Macclesfield, Preston, Wigan, and Warrington.
- Happy to be on call
