Cygnet was established in 1988. Since then we have developed a wide range of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, eating disorders, autism and learning disabilities within the UK.
The Systems Change Implementer will play a vital role in ensuring the successful adoption of digital systems across Cygnet’s healthcare sites. Sitting within the Project Management Office (PMO) in the Digital Services team, this role will focus on engaging frontline staff, driving change at a local level, and overcoming the unique challenges of system adoption in a diverse and complex workforce.
This role is hands-on, working closely with site-based teams, administrators, clinical staff, and operational leads to ensure that new digital systems — both clinical and non-clinical — are successfully embedded into everyday working practices. These may include:
Clinical systems (e.g., electronic patient records, prescribing systems)
Operational systems (e.g., workforce management, rostering, procurement)
HR and business systems (e.g., recruitment, learning & development, payroll)
Please note: This is a Hybrid role working 2-3 days from our Birmingham Offices

- Act as a key point of contact between the PMO, IT, and operational teams, ensuring alignment and addressing barriers to adoption.
Training & User Readiness:
- Work closely with the IT Systems Training Lead to ensure training materials are tailored to different staff groups, including clinical teams, administrators, and operational leaders.
- Support delivery of training sessions, particularly where site-specific engagement is needed.
- Help assess user readiness and target additional support where teams are struggling with adoption.
Post-Go-Live Support & Continuous Improvement:
- Assist in managing post-implementation support, ensuring that staff feel confident using new systems.
- Monitor adoption challenges and help refine support strategies, ensuring sustained engagement beyond go-live.
- Gather and share lessons learned from deployments to improve future system rollouts.
Key Skills & Experience Experience:
- Experience in change management within large-scale digital transformation projects.
