We’re looking for a Service Manager with a passion for delivering high quality care to join our team at Cygnet Vincent Court. 

You will be working full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Please note this role does carry the responsibility of on-call duties as and when required in support of the Service.

Cygnet Vincent Court:

Vincent Court is a five-bed community residential service for deaf men with mental health needs.

We can accept referrals from inpatient, secure services and community placements, whilst also providing a pathway for individuals on Bridge Hampton, our Low Secure Mental Health and Specialist Deaf Service within Cygnet Bury Dunes.

Your Day-to-Day…

  • Provide strong & effective leadership

  • Be responsible for the overall running & strategic direction of the service

  • Ensure full compliance with Cygnet policies & procedures, CQC & other relevant regulators

  • Deliver a high-quality service, in respect of both patient care & employee engagement

  • Ensure all clinical, budgetary, regulatory & service development targets are met

  • Implement risk assessment, risk management & embed clinical governance

  • Lead on appropriate investigations as required

  • Review & develop potential opportunities for improved quality & commercial growth.

You will have…

  • Ideally we are looking for someone who is BSL trained however relevant training can be provided for the right applicant. 

  • A proven track record of managing Learning disabilities, Autism or challenging behaviours

  • Outstanding staff management and organisation skills

  • Familiarity with and the ability to apply CQC, the Mental Health Capacity Act and other professional regulations

  • Good presentation and report writing skills

  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care, or equivalent

  • Applicants without a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care should be willing to work towards one
