Cygnet Health Care have been providing a national network of high quality specialist mental health services for more than 30 years.

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Trainer to join the Learning & Development function as part of our in-house Training Team.   

You will need to have relevant experience as a health and safety Trainer. Ideally within a health and social care setting.

Please note this is a full time role working 40 hrs per weeks delivering training courses online and within service's where required so travel will be required as and when needed. 

The role:

You will be required to develop and deliver a variety of health and safety training courses across Cygnet service. 
This role requires someone who is engaging and able to adapt their style to meet the needs of the participants.
This is a unique opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with our health and social care colleagues.

Do you have a passion for training and development?  We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a health and safety trainer to be a part of our team that has significant impact on delivering high quality training and equipping our staff and patients? Then you may be interested in our Health and Safety Trainer role.

You will be required to deliver a variety of courses including manual handling, risk assessment and fire warden Marshall. Experience of safer people handling and IOSH would be desirable.

You are/will have…

Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
Hold an in date First Aid at Work certificate
Have current up to date health and safety certificates
Hold Level 3 Award (or above) in Education and Training
Relevant experience in a training/teaching environment
An Inspiring individual who’s passionate about health and safety
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
Excellent skills across a number of IT packages eg Word, Powerpoint

If successfully shortlisted, you will be invited to interview. As part of this interview process you will be required to deliver a 10-minute micro teach session to the interview panel followed by a series of competency based interview questions.
