Key Responsibilities: 

Project Delivery: 

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of business systems projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. 
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and budgets. 
  • Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and go-live. 
  • Ensure that all projects meet their intended outcomes, timelines, and budgets while adhering to PMO governance standards. 

Stakeholder Engagement: 

  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, Digital Service teams and external vendors to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business objectives. 
  • Act as the main point of contact between business units and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. 
  • Provide regular updates to the Business Systems Senior Programme Manager and other stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans. 

Risk & Issue Management: 

  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies. 
  • Escalate critical risks and challenges to the Senior Programme Manager as necessary. 

Change Management: 

  • Support organisational change initiatives related to business systems implementation or upgrades. 
  • Collaborate with change management teams to develop training materials, user guides, and communication plans to facilitate system adoption. 
  • Manage change requests and ensure they are evaluated and approved through governance processes. 

Governance & Reporting: 

  • Ensure all projects adhere to PMO governance frameworks and meet compliance requirements. 
  • Provide accurate and timely project reports, including status updates, financial tracking, and performance metrics, to PMO leadership and governance boards. 

Vendor & Contract Management: 

  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and suppliers involved in business systems projects, ensuring service levels and deliverables are met. 
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to negotiate contracts and oversee vendor performance. 

Collaboration & Teamwork: 

  • Work closely with Digital services, finance, HR, and other functional teams to ensure business systems align with organisational needs and integrate seamlessly with existing technologies. 
  • Support the Senior Programme Manager in driving continuous improvement across the program portfolio. 

Key Requirements: 

Experience: 

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on delivering business systems such as ERP, CRM, HR systems, Governance platforms or financial systems. 
  • Experience in the Healthcare Industry
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects within a structured PMO environment. 
  • Experience working with cloud-based business systems and SaaS platforms is desirable. 

Education & Certifications: 

  • Project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent) is essential. 
  • Certifications related to business systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Salesforce) are advantageous. 

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business processes across HR, finance, and operations. 
  • Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. 
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with business system integration, data migration, and enterprise architecture principles. 
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
