We are looking for a Healthcare Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. We are looking to recruit a female Support Worker on this Ward due to the environment

You will be working 38.5 hours per week, between 7:30am to 8:00pm and 7:30pm to 8:00am (Week 1: Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun / Week 2: Wed, Thu, Fri) at Cygnet Hospital Ealing, on New Dawn.

New Dawn Ward is our 9 bed specialist Tier 4 service, providing treatment, care and support for women with a personality disorder who are ready to engage in therapy.

Your day-to-day…

  • Assist the patient to meet his or her needs in respect of activities of daily living
  • Cooperate with other members of the nursing team in ensuring a safe environment is maintained for the patients
  • Cooperate with other members of the nursing team to ensure the ward meets any therapeutic needs of the patient, which are conducive to recovery
  • At all times ensure that the patient's rights and dignity are maintained.
  • Undertake duties, within capabilities, that contribute to the care of the patients under the direction of a trained nurse
  • Report to qualified staff any change in patients' conditions of which you are aware
  • Pass on to qualified staff any information or concerns brought to your attention
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

She immediately pulled the panic alarm made sure the defib bag were available if needed. Scott was very positive and remained calm and waited with the individual until they returned to service and ensured they was okay and offered the individuals parent a lot of re-assurance.

An individual had a seizure at hawkstone house and Anwer was quick to respond despite being in another building. He came over and assisted very calmly.
