We are looking for confident Bank Support Workers with a passion for delivering outstanding care to join our team at The Old Vicarage.
The Old Vicarage is a specialist residential service, supporting both Men and Women over 18, with learning disabilities who may have behaviours that challenge and associated complex needs. We provide specialist care and support that is tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and community integration.
This role offers flexibility to choose shifts/hours that suit you!
Our resident profile:
- Adults from the age of 18+ years
- Individuals with a primary diagnosis of learning disability accompanied with behaviours that challenge including mental illness or a forensic background
- Individuals with a secondary diagnosis of personality disorder or autism
- May have communication challenges
- May have associated complex needs
Your day-to-day…
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
- Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
- Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
- Assist with medical & welfare needs
- Report on medical & welfare needs as required
- Safeguard
- Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
- Shifts are either 08:00 am to 02:00 pm, 02:00 pm to 08:00 pm or 08:00 pm to 08:00 am
