I spoke to the resident. he was excited as they were both camping out in the back garden that night. Gavin goes over and above his role.
Carla is a passionate, compassionate, caring and dedicated Mental health Support worker working with very complex and highly distressed young people within the GAU ward. She is highly regarded by the YP that have benefited from her support. I have seen Carla in action last week after a YP had had a difficult time, Carla stayed past her shift to hel
Naomi came and supported our ward during a difficult time. She was efficient and did her upmost to de-escalate situations, listen to service user’s problems and mediate with them to help keep the ward as safe as possible. Naomi assisted staff with completing the required IMS’s and offered further guidance. Her time and help was much appreciated.
Diane is the hardest working member of our team. She put’s all of herself into everything she does – whether she’s interacting with patients or staff. Diane takes the time to genuinely get to know every individual and empathises with patients, helping them to positively progress in a way no one else can. We are immensely lucky to have her.
Leanne has demonstrated hard work, empathy and support to others, positivity, passion and fun. In this, she has demonstrated considerable growth; she has continued to manage her large and varied workload, push herself out of her comfort zone, learn and develop her skills, whilst also managing training to become a forensic psychologist. Well Done!
I’m not on Hannah’s team directly I do see the magic which she works, she springs into action at start of shift and never stops. she is helping people, flexible and encourages staff to go out and have fun with our residents. she bring a sense of calm and unity to the home and this is due to her hard working but fun and jolly attitude.
Ummarah dispenses positivity in large doses to her patients daily. She gives them hope and a view of a better future, beyond a secure ward. She is very patient-orientated and encourages them to build more fulfilling lives. One patient is so proud to have his wish of visiting Houses of Parliament granted he has bought a new suit for the occasion.
Ihsan has really developed his skills in the kitchen when preparing food for the individuals in our care. Ihsan has lacked confidence in the kitchen but he has grown. I am so proud of him. Well done.

Chevron walked 90 minutes in the snow to get to work on time. she brought a positive attitude and helped inspire other staff throughout the shift to have fun and motivate service users despite the chilly weather
Dave works hard with a smile on his face all the time. He does not ever say that work is too much. Dave is consistently wanting to improve the service and looking out in the best interest of the service and the service users. Dave is respected by all the staff due to his kind caring and helpful nature. Dave surely deserves the hard-work reward.
