She is highly regarded by the YP that have benefited from her support. I have seen Carla in action last week after a YP had had a difficult time, Carla stayed past her shift to hel
Naomi came and supported our ward during a difficult time. She was efficient and did her upmost to de-escalate situations, listen to service user’s problems and mediate with them to help keep the ward as safe as possible. Naomi assisted staff with completing the required IMS’s and offered further guidance. Her time and help was much appreciated.
Diane is the hardest working member of our team. She put’s all of herself into everything she does – whether she’s interacting with patients or staff. Diane takes the time to genuinely get to know every individual and empathises with patients, helping them to positively progress in a way no one else can. We are immensely lucky to have her.
Leanne has demonstrated hard work, empathy and support to others, positivity, passion and fun. In this, she has demonstrated considerable growth; she has continued to manage her large and varied workload, push herself out of her comfort zone, learn and develop her skills, whilst also managing training to become a forensic psychologist. Well Done!
I’m not on Hannah’s team directly I do see the magic which she works, she springs into action at start of shift and never stops. she is helping people, flexible and encourages staff to go out and have fun with our residents. she bring a sense of calm and unity to the home and this is due to her hard working but fun and jolly attitude.
On our snow day Aman showed great support towards Longfield by picking up another staff member in his dad 4×4 car on the way to work and also offering other to take other staff members home after shift. Thanks for all you do 🙂
Dr Chuks has had to change roles temporarily to support the service and has adapted to this brilliantly. He completes every task with a smile on his face despite a lot of this current role being new to him, and he is always enthusiastic and positive. He is also a great support for the nurse and support worker team.
Vimbinashe has recently been through a difficult time in which she continued to work and showed excellent resilience. Vimbinashe has recently joined the team and has to adapt to huge changes but has shown great willingness to learn.
Asha puts so much effort in to ensuring the communication between staff and patients is as accessible as it possibly can be. She makes engaging display boards, converts any information in to an accessible format for the patients, and ensures the rest of the team sees the Makaton “sign of the week”, demonstrating her indirect work with the team.
Sadia works every second of each shift and although she may be doing a million things at once, she does so with a smile on her face.
Residents frequently comment on the positive atmosphere she brings to the unit, She always has a positive attitude and keeps moral high.
Fola has repeatedly demonstrated professional growth through her dedication and hard work. Fola has grown into becoming a recognised physical health support worker on the ward. She’s committed to learning new skills and teaching these skills onto her fellow team mates. Proud of what Fola has achieved.
Millie works hard in the kitchen cooking meals for the residents and staff. she makes sure everyone is fed and happy, with diets catered for. She is brilliant with the residents and always has time for them. Millie chats and makes time for the residents and being a compassionate ear to all. She is very much appreciated by all here.
