Andrea finds it difficult at times to work with the more challenging service users however recently Andrea has worked really well with the service users she finds more challenging and done an amazing job at supporting them really well.rnAndrea has built lots of confidence with the individuals that she worried about when she first started here.
Becky embodies the character of passion. She supports individuals with co-production opportunities within the service. Becky arranged a Vocational Expo event and continues to show her passion in promoting vocational opportunities for individuals. Becky is currently working on creating “how to” videos to further promote independence for all.
Rachelle’s commitment to effective communication is admirable. She tirelessly gathered vital information from various sources to ensure a new resident’s physical health was understood. Her perseverance paid off, resulting in a detailed support plan. Rachelle’s skills and persistence are invaluable to the service.
Karl is always doing his best to support not only his own team, but also the opposite day team. In recent weeks our managers have been off, and Karl has taken time out of his personal time to ensure resident safety and welfare.

The service would be lost without the hard work from Katie. Katie knows everything there is to know about Manor & the patients. She is an integral part of the team & when she is on leave she is truly missed. Not only is she an essential part of the Manor, the patients have a great relationship with her. Katie brings warmth and humour to the service.
Mohammed Anwer is a breath of fresh air to work with. He is always smiling. He is always finding new ways to develop and grow in all areas of work. He also pushes staff to develop and grow, encouraging them and their confidence, the passion he has for the job is bright and breezy. There is no other way to describe him than a shinning star.
Lizzie is a shining example of how to build trusting therapeutic relationships with patients & stakeholders. At difficult times Lizzie is dependable & inspires others to work collaboratively & shares experiences of the best ways to engage with patients. Lizzie is a much loved staff member & regularly praised by the team, patients, and externals.
Stewart is resilient extremely hard working and dedicated to his job. He goes above and beyond in all aspects of his job and the service users received the best care. Stewart is very well respected by all staff especially myself and the service users love his cheery way. Nothing is too much trouble for Stewart and he is always full of new ideas.
I’d like to nominate Jeff as he has demonstrated significant growth and development in the past few months. Jeff left his role to support another ward. Jeff then stepped up to clinical services manager and covered for Hospital Director whilst she was on holiday. During those two weeks he was faced with multiple challenges.
Sheena’s transformation from an anxious nurse to a confident staff nurse is impressive. Her in-depth, person-centred care plans and ability to lead her team demonstrate her professionalism and commitment to quality. Sheena’s journey is a shining example of the power of professional growth and development.
I bumped into Gavin and a resident in the community. I witnessed Gavin supporting this resident to make his own choices with his purchases and promoted this resident to pay independently when at the counter.
I spoke to the resident. he was excited as they were both camping out in the back garden that night. Gavin goes over and above his role.
