Teresa has a really good relationship with many of Norcott’s service users and can see when they have become sad or upset. Teresa often plans activities that are person centred and organises them so that they run smoothly.Teresa is a good listener and she also makes a great cuppa.Teresa has lots of creative ideas that she puts to good use.
I believe Summer has grown so much as a Support Worker and is ready for her next role as a Senior/Team Leader when the opportunity arises. Summer has shown so much potential and is always looking out for the best outcome of the people in our care by working towards a person-centered way. Summer has a great working relationship with her colleagues.
I would like to nominate Sam because of how supportive she has been to me recently. Sam will always find time to check in on me, and never fails to lend an ear in time of need. She always knows the right thing to say to make things better… Not to mention all the times Sam covers minute taking when I am on leave! Thanks for everything Sam! x
Oxley recently had a new admission, Amarraah has worked tirelessly throughout the first few months to settle the resident into their new home. picking up shifts, working with the staff team to ensure consistency is maintained, liaising with family, reviewing care plans and support strategies and putting in 110% every day she is at work.
After a difficult incident, Megan continued to be present on the ward and support her team despite appearing slightly stressed by the day’s events. She goes above and beyond for the service users and has great relationships with the service users. She is a credit to the team! Thank you Megan!
The direct patient care team in our ward would not be as effective and efficient if not for Simla’s exceptional performance of her role not just as a senior and lead support , but she also demonstrates respect and trust towards her colleagues. A model indeed to emulate and rely on.
Rachel deserves to be recognised for more than resilience, she is courageous, strong, determined, caring, and supportive. She is always there during an emergency (having been involved in multiple medical emergencies recently) and puts others first consistently. Her ability to remain calm and focused as she manages incidents is excellent. Well done!
Paul over the last few weeks has been able to support service users on lower west while they are receiving treatment in hospital. Paul has supported the patient and the service by working extra time to ensure that the patient is being treated for their physical health while also accepting that this requires time to get to and from hospitals.
Adeei met me at the door of Millbank and went above and beyond to resolve my broken phone issue. He was amazing and put everything aside to help resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. He ensured that I could keep speaking to our customers and did it without question and prioritised this task knowing I only had a limited time frame in London.
I have nominated Matthew as in my career I have worked with various managers but he is different in a good way. Matthew is an individual who builds his team and its members. He has a way of working which is caring and understanding. This allows for his team to have their trust in him and a willingness to do well with his support.
I would like to thank Jody for the incredible support she has provided me over the past very stressful month. Cygnet messed up by pay last year and Jody has been efficient, responsive and ensured that this month I received the correct pay. I know things are completely sorted, but Jody, thank you for everything you’ve done to help me!
This has been a very stressful month for me, with my sister undergoing cancer treatment, my pay being incorrect and overtaxed, and throughout it all Ellie has been the most incredible support. The flexibility i thought i would need to support my family was given without a moment’s hesitation, and that has meant a great deal. Thank you Ellie!
