Shamim returned to work after time off for personal reasons and has come back with the same positive attitude. Despite her personal leave, Shamim has continued to be outgoing and supportive to myself and all staff on the Green team. She continues to strive through her daily tasks and take on any challenges head on.
Thank you Shamim for the support
Lynnie is full of sunshine and regularly shares it with those around her. She is deeply caring and this is evident when she’s about! Lynnie has a huge reserves of patience and empathy and she’s always got a light joke or a kind compliment to offer reassurance and bring that little bit of sunshine to hard days. Thanks you lovely Lynnie! 🙂
Alex is resilient. He goes above and beyond in keeping the service clean, paying attention to the little details missed by others and ensure service users received the best care. Alex has received recognition as staff of the month and accepts extra shifts to ensure the service keeps thriving. Staff know Alex can always deliver when called upon.
Khosi is phenomenal; she goes above and beyond to ensure the start of the shift is smooth as possible as she can recognise the start of the evening can increase anxieties in our service users. I have witnessed her going above and beyond to cater the needs for others and others often regard her as a positive role model. I am grateful to have Khosi!
Dalton has organised a Christmas, Chinese new year and valentines party for the residents. He puts in 100% and staff and residents all have fun at these parties and continue to talk about them weeks after. Dalton has really injected a lot of fun into the service and everyone is looking forward to all the parties he has planned for 2023.
I am nomination Isis for her continued hard work whilst on shift at beacon house. Isis recently has been planning events for our service user each month and this is having a good impact on each and everyone here at beacon, our service user and interacting a lot more with each other when having our parties. nothing ever is too big or small for Isis.
Natalya showed excellent relationship building with a patient who usually does not trust or engage with services. Through building this trusting relationship, Natalya was able to build an excellent psychological formulation and help the home team understand the patients needs, leading to the development of a tailor made care pathway.
Michelle has worked at Toller Road for many many years! She has always been a vital member of the team here.
In the last year Michelle has taken over as activity coordinator and has really thrown herself into the challenge. The service users outings have been a main focus for her and its lovely to see them going on trips and out to discos!!

Lauren is always happy to step in to cover reception when needed. In addition she also recognises that it can be quite stressful at times even though we are not working on the wards. She uses her own break time to cover us at the weekend for a quick comfort break and even brings a cup of tea when it is safe to do so. The little things mean a lot.
