Matilda has been my Deputy for approximately 9 month. Matilda is a great role model when it comes to demonstrating real passion for person centred care. Matilda always advocates for working in the least restrictive manner and will work alongside external professionals to ensure best possible outcomes for residents are achieved. Well done Matilda!!!
Annie has lead the first completed QI project at Brunel ” Choking is everyone’s business”. She has supported quality changes in Brunel which have seen the reduction of choking incidents from 1.8 /month to less than 1/month. This is of huge value to our patients and her passion for service improvement in swallow safety is clear and measurable.
Kelly goes above and beyond for service users and colleagues! She is passionate about her role and puts her heart into everything she does, such as organising a Christmas party for the service users. No job is too big or too small for her, and if someone has a problem she is the first person to try and solve this! Thank you Kelly!

Russell is always willing to help those on site. During the Christmas period and train strikes he was quick to help with lifts and a rota system in order to get staff to work. Recently, I ordered equipment to the wrong Site, and Russell kindly saved the day by going to fetch the equipment so that it could be used for the patient as soon as possible.
Gary setters has supported the RFM team with the installation of safer bedroom works for the last 18 months, Gary has worked incredibly hard communicating with suppliers and fitters and working incredibly hard with re-decoration of Patient bedrooms. Tony is always willing to pick up shifts and takes pride in his role here at Norcott. We recently had a food hygiene inspection at Conifers and unfortunately our cook was off for some time. Kim stepped in to make sure everything was in order in the kitchen, from cleaning to cooking nothing was too much to ask and as a result helped us get a 5 kitchen hygiene rating! Thank you Kim!
Emily is new to Cygnet, her role is a dual role for Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy, so she has twice as much to learn and twice as many line managers. She has taken to this role brilliantly, working hard to learn the role, get to know the patients and complete their rehabilitation as well as keeping up with all her other responsibilities.
