I was at a conference promoting our services when Dr. Phil Crowther came up to me to say that his daughter Milli had been on placement with Cygnet recently as an OT student. He was overwhelmed with the support that Ella Louise provided to Milli – he had never come across a more welcoming individual and organisation. He said it was exceptional.
My general nurse with no qualifications, that is Leanne! She supports me to ensure physical health monitoring is up-to-date, bloods and ECGs are completed as they should be. She is the best phlebotomist here managing to get blood from difficult patients. She supports the floor as well as completing her own work. Everyone needs a Leanne! Thank you.
Pete was one of the three staff members that pulled together when they were left without a chef on Sunday at a very short notice. They all pulled together and managed to feed all staff and patients and smiled the whole way. We are super proud of their quick thinking and amazing team work to avoid what could’ve been a disaster!

Daemon has recently been part of a group that has agreed to help another ward. He has done so with vigour and passion. He has been an incredible support to the team and the patients. His experience and passion are second to none and he has been a huge part in making staff and patients feel welcomed and supported.
Jo was especially diligent in maintaining the integrity of the GCSE examination papers this May/June – her hard work and keen eye for security was a huge contributing factor to the Phoenix School passing their JCQ inspection during the exam series. Thanks Jo!
The maintenance team at Cygnet Hospital Sheffield did us proud this year, making sure that alongside their extensive list of jobs they found the time to support the Phoenix School prom by hanging the bunting and erecting the huge marquee among other things. We couldn’t have done it without them.

Diana planned an activity for one of our residents at Oakwood. She had planned the activity very well to ensure all aspects of the trip run smoothly. She is eager to plan more activities for the residents at Oakwood to promote choice and inclusion. You are doing a fab job!
