Vimbinashe has recently been through a difficult time in which she continued to work and showed excellent resilience. Vimbinashe has recently joined the team and has to adapt to huge changes but has shown great willingness to learn.
Asha puts so much effort in to ensuring the communication between staff and patients is as accessible as it possibly can be. She makes engaging display boards, converts any information in to an accessible format for the patients, and ensures the rest of the team sees the Makaton “sign of the week”, demonstrating her indirect work with the team.
Sadia works every second of each shift and although she may be doing a million things at once, she does so with a smile on her face.
Residents frequently comment on the positive atmosphere she brings to the unit, She always has a positive attitude and keeps moral high.
Fola has repeatedly demonstrated professional growth through her dedication and hard work. Fola has grown into becoming a recognised physical health support worker on the ward. She’s committed to learning new skills and teaching these skills onto her fellow team mates. Proud of what Fola has achieved.
Millie works hard in the kitchen cooking meals for the residents and staff. she makes sure everyone is fed and happy, with diets catered for. She is brilliant with the residents and always has time for them. Millie chats and makes time for the residents and being a compassionate ear to all. She is very much appreciated by all here.
Niall supported one of our residents on the bus in the community for the first time in 3 years. The resident really enjoyed the trip and went to Costa and Home bargains. Niall had a positive attitude despite the risks involved and ensured he is leading the team by example.
Vicki has worked hard for numerous of years as a support worker and progressed to a QN, after all her dedication and further hard work she has just been promoted to Clinical Team Leader. What a remarkable achievement and thoroughly deserved, she is a deaf member of staff and is a huge development and achievement as she is the only deaf Team Leader

Kay has done an amazing job of looking after our new starters and welcoming them to Cygnet so smoothly whilst our admin was off on holiday. The new starters and us at the service felt very supported. Thanks Kay 🙂
Simran has been working solo for over a month and she continues to be a happy hard working member of our team. Nothing is ever too much and she is such a valuable member of our team.
Great communication from Dee taking SGM role, really drumming up support , seeking questions from staff, she is so positive and communicating well and encouraging others to take park. She is like the pied piper trumping up trade.
Sarah had to manage a particularly difficult incident recently. She was an absolute credit to the team in the way she dealt with the incident. She was inspirational and showed brilliant leadership skills.
