Marcin has been extremely flexible in his working hours by covering over 60 hours of over time following staff sickness. Marcin has made himself available at very short notice and has swapped between dayshift and nightshift with very little rest days and given up on his own personal plans to support our individuals.
Ryan has recently completed his World Class Manager course – the 1st cohort of leaders to complete within Cygnet. He has been really enthusiastic throughout, shared his learning with others, and applied it to his role and mentoring of others and set a great example for the team showing how engaging with training impacts the service so positively!
Liam has been extremely flexible in his working hours by a large amount of over time following staff sickness. Liam has made himself available at very short notice and has swapped between dayshift and nightshift with very little rest days and given up on his own personal plans to support our individuals.
Lara has been very supportive in her role on the White House in supporting both patients and the ward team. She has been coming an asking if the ward team need any support with facilitating things for patients on the ward and this has been muchly appreciated by the ward team and the ward patients.
I have been having some personnel problems which has been affecting me deeply. JJ has helped me through and was always there for me to talk to to support me and at times for me to yell at and she never told me she didn’t have time and was always taking time out of her busy day to make sure that i was okay.
She has been caring for our residents for over a decade! Throughout it all she shares her wisdom onto others so we can help each resident to the best of our abilities. Laura consistently gives 110% in every shift, helping others out at every opportunity. She encourages us to be our best self, I would not have made it this far without her.
Saka works with one of our more challenging residents ,who has been visit by two ladies. Loves to watch her routines and behaviours .they both gave feedback on Saka and said he worked well with the resident and followed routines and activities and also gave her reassurance and empathy when needed during episodes of Anxiety well done .
John has been recently promoted to SSW. We receive constant comments from both staff and patients that he consistently excels in whatever task he needs to carry out. Nothing is too much for John. He’s a wonderful example of a SSW
Her ability to engage residents that are difficult to engage is incredible. Today she engaged a resident, who often finds it difficult to even leave her bedroom, all morning in the sensory room. Her exceptional handwork and dedication has had a really positive impact on the resident, the family and colleagues. Thank you, you’re amazing Ada.
Maria worked very hard to help a service in mental health crisis. She liaised with the MDT, family members and ensure a smooth transition. The social worker involved mentioned that Maria hand gone ‘above and beyond’ in supporting the service user.
Kasim regularly picks up shifts on the opposite team and this is of great use as it enables him to communicate thoughts and ideas through to both teams and ensures that we are all on the same page within our roles. Kasim also makes time for new starters and is what i would consider to be a very valued member of staff with the patience of a saint.
Courtney is fun to work with not only when she’s bouncing on and off the walls but as a support worker, she comes up with great ideas to keep service users busy and communicates well with them, which is a great learning opportunity for us guys. She creates an amazing positive atmosphere within the work place and I love working with her 🙂
