Saka received some great feedback from 2x external OT ladies who came to observe one of our residents. They stated that while on there visit, they could see that the situation was challenging at the time, however Saka remained calm, consistent and really tried his best to reassure our resident who had high anxieties at the time. Well done Saka.
Chelsea always keeps us organised and supports the team. She is calm in the face of difficulties and whilst recently covering for the unit manager has dealt with many challenges including the absence of food orders for the patients. She is able to resolve issues without expressing how very frustrating these must be which in turn helps the team.
Ashlen has recently supported the research team whilst we were without a research assistant. Without her hard work in doing this it would have been difficult to keep up to date with the many research duties. She has completed a research presentation at the recent psychology conference on behalf of the team. Thank you for all your hard work Ashlen.
Melissa has completed her 6 week rotation onto nights. Whilst on night shifts, the ward was very unsettled and the team managed some challenging service users. Melissa dealt with these incidents alongside the ward team, supporting both staff and service users within this time.
Ben has made himself available for supporting service users as a driver to ensure home leaves across the Country are facilitated. He has volunteered to work on wards across the site and has really prioritised what is important for our service users. He remains very flexible in arranging his shifts to accommodate special events. Thanks Ben!
Olivia has only been a ATL for a short while, she is confident and knows the job well. Olivia will support full team leaders when they need assistance and she is supporting. She will other a listening ear when needed and is comforting. Olivia is doing well learning all the key roles within her ATL role!
Lisa is the most supportive person I have ever met. She has such a passion for care and is an amazing TL. Every shift is a pleasure and she really does put the service users first. She has recently trained me as her ATL and she has shown me so much patience and understanding. I feel that she is such a positive person to be around and she is amazing
Deborah joined the team at Eleni earlier this year. This is her first role in Social Care. Deborah has shown she is committed to improving her skills and knowledge to provide the best possible support and has come a long way in a short space of time. Deborah puts these skills to practice every day and continues to learn and reflect.
Kate has recently moved from the Grange to the Lodge.
She has been providing excellent, appetising meals for our patients on specialised diets, using creative techniques such as jelly moulds and piping bags. Several of our patients have been really enjoying these and have been putting on weight (positive thing for them!). She goes above and beyond
Kelly always has a postie attitude & this flows through the service. when supporting residents she supports them the best way she is able to & always has them engaging if new activities throughout the day. When Kelly is n shift you know the residents will have a great day and will be full of joy and laughter which echos through the service.
Dawn is a very hard working member of staff at Longfield. I can always guarantee that when Dawn isn’t supporting our service users she’s filling her time cleaning every nook and carry of Longfield House. Thanks for helping make Longfield clean, fresh and tidy. We appreciate all that you do 🙂
Since my transfer to Longfield House, Paul has supported me to develop within my role along. Thanks to Paul I have gained my confidence with managing situations and speaking with professionals.
Thank you for all of your support Paul 🙂
