Ever since being ward clerk, Emma has brought the ward together within the paper work, getting on top of it and running everything smoothly which is a big part of Bramley ward. Due to Emma’s commitment of going above and beyond to have care files and paper work ready for SW & nurses, it made all the diffrence to the ward and our patients. Big thanks to Emma.
Daisy is so hard working and organised; she is always on top of her to do list and is an inspiration to the team. She never seems stressed or overwhelmed and is always willing to help people out. Daisy is constantly striving to improve the company and improve care for the young people across all the wards. Daisy is incredible and deserves recognition.
Swaib was in the garden with an individual in our care. The individual was upset. Swaib got down on his knees and held the individual’s hand. The empathy what Swaib showed was outstanding. Swaib managed to prompt the individual back into the house. The individual had cheered up and was very happy that Swaib had been there for her.
Fred worked extremely hard in order to co-ordinate a fun day at Ellen Mhor. Fred had invited all of the other Scottish units, organised a pet handling session, bouncy castle, live music, an ice cream van and lots of food! Everything ran like clock work and everyone involved thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Thank you Fred!
Claire recently received a positive feedback from the parents of one of our service users that she was very efficient in her email responses to them. They praised her for being so responsive and pro-active to their concerns and queries, and said that they had not experienced this level of communication from previous hospitals. Well done Claire!
My team have recently moved into a new office building and that has come with some initial points that need rectifying including the acoustics and water. Rich goes above and beyond his role and is working really hard to rectify the situation. At every point he updates on progress and shares challenges and solutions. Very grateful for his input.
The service was short-staffed, and I was TL at a service I was not familiar with. Kelly was amazingly helpful and supportive all day with advice for me and the rest of the team (lots of agency staff). Kelly worked really hard to make sure that her resident and all others had great days, cooked Sunday roast, and kept positive all day. Amazing work!
From the moment I began working with Becky, her unwavering commitment to her profession and her patients became evident. She has consistently shown her expertise, empathy, and dedication. Her genuine concern for my progress is truly heartwarming, and I am constantly reassured that she always has my best interests at heart. From a service user.
I have worked with Nazia since the Mews opened. I feel that she could be nominated for each character. However, I have chosen resilience due to her can do attitude and calm approach no matter what she is faced with day to day. The past few months she has faced challenges at work, she has remained professional and ensured the smooth running of the shift.
Megan is an asset to Gledholt Mews and Coach House. She has worked way up in her first role at Gledholt, from Support Worker to Senior Support Worker to now Clinical Admin. She works to the best of her ability within the whole team, and valued by all the staff and residents at Gledholt.
Gemma makes a fantastic senior support worker. She is empathetic, considerate and a joy to be around. Gemma always goes above and beyond what she is expected and makes sure her team feel safe and confident in their role. Gemma spends quality time with residents and it is clear they enjoy her company too, she brings a smile to all faces. Keep it up 🙂
