Samarya is a dedicated member of the waking night team on all the times that she is on shift. I have been a witness to how she is readily available to cover for other staff members to go on break and also assist other members of the staff team to ensure tasks for the shift are completed. Well done Samarya for been supportive always.
Nathan has always been a friendly person from my first day at Outwood. He has made the effort of making me feel a part of the team and has been available to help with my induction period. He has the ability to instantly make people feel comfortable and at ease. Thank you for your support and your willingness to help.

Matt is a walking tower of strength, no matter how hectic shifts are or how things don’t go with plan, he will find a way to make sure all jobs are completed. He always stays calm and professional whatever the situation. He could be any or all of the characters on any given day. He is the glue in the team.
Rehka joined the Community care admin team a few months ago. Rehka has persevered with our online systems to learn what each system does to help her through the working day. Well done Rehka!

Udoka seems to be able to absorb severe challenging behaviour with ease whilst taking a real detailed interest in the care of an individual. He recently impressed me and my colleagues by highlighting a physical intimate health issue and addressing this in a sensitive way.
Accident occurred where by contractor chopped end of his finger of and Welani responded professionally and quickly putting his first aid training into action, reassuring and comforting the contractor throughout while remaining calm and professional at all times and making sure that he had cleaned his finger and bandaged it.
Tafadzwa has demonstrated support at work by offering to help out team members when they are overloaded with work, and sometimes volunteers to cover colleagues shift. He listens, understands and assists where appropriate and this builds trust in the team. He is driven by passion to help people which makes him put the needs of others above his.
Sylwia created an educational trolley regarding sugar content, for our community meeting with patients. This provided a visual to increase awareness of both staff and patients for the amount of sugar which is in our everyday foods and juice. This is one act where she has been a huge support to the team and responded quickly.
Lance spent 2 hours unblocking a service user’s toilet, he was not asked and took it upon himself. This was greatly appreciated as staff had previously tried and failed. The service user was extremely grateful.
I was lucky enough to have Georgia shadow me for a few days many months ago when she first joined the company. It comes with great pleasure to see that she is doing extremely well. I see her on many trips I recommended and even now we contact each other each week to share ideas. There is a real unity between between both homes and many joint trips.
Georgina is hugely supportive of all the service users on Sunrise Ward. She goes above and beyond to ensure all the service users needs are met and during a recent really difficult period she went to every service user to offer psychology support before she left for the day. I think she is truly deserving of this recognition.
