Dishna is truly an asset to Gledholt. The hard work & dedication she puts into helping others day in day out never goes unnoticed. Dishna is an amazing advocate for residents and will always ensure they are getting the level of care they deserve. She is also a great colleague who is there for a debrief and to raise your spirits whenever you need.
Tanya and her team epitomize what it means to be a good listener and communicator. She took the time to help the service go through the rigors of documentation and financial implications involved in organizing a service users trip outside the country. They were always there until the plan was realized. Service user and staff are grateful to them.
Nathan is medication trained and kindly offered to change his shift to later start throughout the day so he could stay behind and help me complete the medication change over from a new pharmacy. Nathan also drove to different pharmacies to source an emergency script and stayed until 23:15 to ensure it was all correct. Your support is appreciated.
Leonie consistently demonstrates empathy and this has made a huge impact on individuals recovery journey. Leonie recently supported a service user through showing kindness and empathy about a theatre show that was of great meaning to her. Leonie went above and beyond and the smile, motivation and HOPE that this resulted in was incredible.

Kevin has a listening ear. He takes his time to listen to me and many other staff. He respects our opinions and allows us to come up with our own conclusions. He has stood up for the minority at his own detriment!
He has helped me with my mental wellbeing, reducing stress, which has resulted in me being very productive at work.
He is our unsung HERO!
Since joining Sherwood House, Tara has become an integral part of the team. No job is too big or too small and she cares deeply about all individuals’ wellbeing. Tara’s quick action today in a choking event meant the patient is safe and well; she later helped attend to a physically unwell patient, supporting the team. We appreciate you very much!

Michaela is a huge asset to Hawkstone. Not only does she do our housekeeping, she helps out with the washing and is a massive support to one of our residents. She motivates them both to be more independent and includes them in day to day tasks. She had helped a resident through the death of his mother and encourages him to do more and inspires him.
Since Jordan took over as our team leader he has boosted staff moral. He does this by engaging and motivating the team. Allowing people to work on their strengths whilst empowering them to improve their weaknesses.
He is always available to talk to and makes you feel like your problems are being taken seriously and being worked on.
