Olufemi joined our service NWSL covering 5 separate locations in March 2023. Olufemi had nothing but system challenges on top of a mighty challenge of rectifying a number of issues surrounding our administration. Olufemi was not put off by this. Olufemi gives his all to everything he does and is a very hard working resilient member of our team.
Chinenye never gives up when faced with a problem. She is dedicated to making sure that our service users’ needs and rights are met. I have seen her call round the houses to ensure that service users are able to have the needs met both in hospital and the community when discharged. She is not just hard working but also dedicated and persistent.
Baka is always making both staff and service users laugh with his quick wit and fun attitude since the day he first started. He brightens everyone’s days and can get people smiling even on some of their worse days. He brings great vibes to every shift he works.
Lidiana recently joined the Kirkside Lodge team and has worked well building relationships with all residents. Lidiana encourages residents to participate in activities, and has taken on the planning and running of a bi-weekly craft club – a session which many residents look forward to participating in. Well done Lidiana for having taking this on!
Ola puts 110% in at work every shift, so much so that she hates having free hours and will find anything she can do to help the team or patients. When a patient had a decline in their physical health, she supported both the patient and team, ensuring the patient was comfortable throughout and then accompanied the patient to the hospital. Thank you!
Me and Patricia took one our persons on a holiday in the UK. Patricia planned, booked and organised our trip away and went above and beyond for our persons, to which we had a really fun but relaxed holiday to which we both and our persons enjoyed. Thank you for the great holiday Patricia.
Catherine is a highly motivated reliable support worker who over her time here at Outwood has supported not only our residents but the whole team in every aspect. Catherine is always willing to step up and help with tasks outside her job role. Catherine takes a lot of time out of her day to help new starters with their job role.
Lauren along with a colleague received positive praise via a member of the public whilst supporting a service user 2:1. The public member contact us and advised that they were elated to see Lauren and her colleague showing patience, kindness and quality care to one of our service users. Lauren’s hard work represents the service/company positively.
Gloria as a manager has been a great support to me and my colleagues in challenging times. She tries as much as possible to meet your needs and gives you a helping hand where necessary at times.
Her coolness and resilience to the job has been a good mentorship to always look at in times of being and work and doing it more diligently.
Since sharing an interest in wanting to develop in my role and progress further, Jake has gone above and beyond. He is getting me more involved in the admin side and sharing his knowledge with me. He is very supportive and will help where he can to ensure I gain the knowledge and confidence to progress.
Awais is fantastic. When the ward was busy, he offered and completed 3 hours of combined 15 minutes and general level observations without complaint in order to ensure the ward ran smoothly.
He always offers to do additional roles and supports his colleagues by picking up any missed observations when staff are late getting back from other duties.
Owen shows true passion for the job, working hard, getting out on activities and bringing activity ideas to the table. He has planned 2 resident holiday since starting 6 months ago and he is really standing out as a very positive impact upon the team and the home.
The future is bright for Mr. Owen.
