Iyabo has been supporting us with ensuring that we are compliant with our audits and supporting us to make sure that our service is prepared for any unannounced inspection from the local authorities or CQC. I believe that Iyabo is not recognised or understood enough for her support of work to many of the services that she goes to support.
Georgia has recently encouraged me and helped me set up a new history club for the patients. She always has fantastic idea for activities to try and is willing to help out on the ward. Georgia is lots of fun to work with and makes shifts fun for both the staff and residents. She is also very capable of providing support when patients need assessment.
Naomi recently supported another ward in the Hudson building during an incident whilst covering OSCAR duties. She was supportive to all and worked hard to ensure all tasks were competed. Her support and resilience was not unnoticed.
Lorna is a very hard working member of staff balancing being a Support Worker at Toller Road as well as being the kitchen assistant here also! Always has a can-do attitude and always whips up meals that the service users love. Not to mention the spectacular puddings on a Sunday! Thank you so much Lorna for all you do for the staff and service users.
Tristan has come to The Squirrels during a challenging time for all staff and residents. He has stepped in, and stepped up, to every challenge, supporting, guiding and most importantly, leading us with such passion and dedication. He has helped us all in so many ways. He is calm, approachable and always makes time for staff.
Thank you Tristan 🙂
Aaron has worked incredibly hard to ensure that the forthcoming Pride event in Manchester is a success for the LGBTQIA network and any other Cygnet employee who wishes to attend. The passion they show when chairing the network, organising events or sharing experience is exceptional, welcomed and inclusively minded. An inspiration to all.
Lizzi has supported me in my journey to becoming a Forensic Psychologist. She has attended my training in order to give me detailed feedback around this as part of my course. Lizzi is always approachable and helps me when the workload becomes too much. Thank you Lizzi!
Lisa puts one foot in front of the other and works with a happy stride. She gets our residents active and involved. She is always ready to get involved and make a difference in our residents lives.
She is a fantastic credit to the team worth her weight in gold.
Elisa is a Psychologist for two wards of 23 patients (and a supervisor for another ward of 12 patients), all of whom she provides excellent and compassionate care to. She is the hardest worker I know who goes above and beyond to dedicate her time and energy to her patients while also providing support and care to her colleagues. She is brilliant!
Momina has shown an incredible level of support for me on a personal level recently, as well as over the last two years we have known each other. She offers me reassurance when I second guess myself, ensures I take care of myself and is very considerate with any concerns I may have, whether about the service or personally. Thank you Momina 🙂
The Cygnet Vans are an essential tool to maximise our patients community experience an essential part of their recovery. As well as completing her busy support work allocations, Caitlin gave the van a total spring clean to make sure the patients can enjoy a clean healthy and hygienic experience in a van as well cared for as they are.
Eve has developed a personalised relaxation preference sheet for Residents at Broughton House who are attending the relaxation group. The aim of the sheet is to communicate to the staff team the residents relaxation preferences, therefore supporting the transference and practice of skills. This is a great and innovative piece of practice.
