Michaela is a huge asset to Hawkstone. Not only does she do our housekeeping, she helps out with the washing and is a massive support to one of our residents. She motivates them both to be more independent and includes them in day to day tasks. She had helped a resident through the death of his mother and encourages him to do more and inspires him.
Since Jordan took over as our team leader he has boosted staff moral. He does this by engaging and motivating the team. Allowing people to work on their strengths whilst empowering them to improve their weaknesses.
He is always available to talk to and makes you feel like your problems are being taken seriously and being worked on.
Samantha organised a 12 mile charity walk from Cygnet Aspens to Cygnet Oaks in Barnsley in aid of raising money for MIND. Samantha organised the whole event, creating the fundraiser, getting permits for each council and sharing the event. In total we raised £1,300 for MIND.
The day would not have happened without Samantha’s organisation!
