Debs has been at Beacon House since it’s opened, and although I’ve only worked at Beacon House 1/13 of her years, from what I’ve seen, she is passionate about our individuals. There has been many times when she’s come to work outside her shift as she was worried there wouldn’t be enough staff on snow days, showing her passion and hard work.
I recently visited the Stevenage site and Lance was asked to show me around the site. In the three hours that he took around me the site his passion, positivity and all round personality shone through, not only with me but the way he greeted every service user. Lance is a real asset to Stevenage.

Clare is outstanding at every thing she does and so brilliant with all service users. She has such good relations with the families of service users too, and always finding ways to contribute to Broughton House or charities with events she organises. Nothing seems too much for Clare, and her Christmas wreaths she made and sold were amazing.
We did an Xmas rock & roll bingo and Caroline went above and beyond to get the prizes prepared for the event. She knitted stockings, wrapped some hot chocolate & marshmallows up and put them inside the stocking alongside some chocolates and candy canes – she even did separate ones for those who couldn’t eat certain sweets. We are lucky to have her.
