Jade has welcomed me warmly into Cygnet. She has always been patient, answering all my questions and showed me new effective ways of working. She has been professional but also approachable in her leadership. Thank you for all that you’ve taught me, for the hours of hard work you’ve invested into my induction and for your kindness.
Dom is very punctual with managing and delivering ward requests. He delivers a high standard of work and always seems happy to help. Very support and enthusiastic every day. I feel administrative staff are under appropriated and i wanted Dom to know he and his hard work has not gone unnoticed. Kewstoke are luck to have you.
Thank you Dom!
Emma is passionate about her role and this is evident on a daily basis as she strives to ensure all patients are empowered and supported. She has even been on 5k runs to ensure a patient could engage in activity of their interest! Emma also supports the wider team, such as coming to formulation meetings prepared, to ensure they are more effective.
Dottie got involved in organising and planning the Halloween fest that took place at Kirkside. Dottie had made sure that all staff are dressed up engaging the service users so they have a special day for them to remember also helped service users having their own outfits too.
Jamie has been exemplary in his role. He has worked his hardest to ensure that processes are completed when started on the ward. This has been extremely positive leadership ensuring the processes are engaged in and the quality is of the highest standard. Jamie has worked really hard to the benefit of the patients.
Emma is a massive asset to the team at St Williams. She has recently been working with patients in breakfast club, involving the patients in making their own meals. She routinely ensures all documentation is completed and is a positive role model to other support workers. Emma works hard on every shift to ensure patients are fully supported.
For going over and above supporting the wards with laundry, whilst we have issues with washing machines, she has sorted out local laundry facilities to come and collect the washing and return it clean. She has made sure the patients have been in clean clothes which we know is a big part of helping a person feel better in themselves.
Compliment received for Martin by a Nurse at Appletree. “I want to appreciate your immense help towards my relocation to Appletree. You contributed positively towards the journey and I must affirm you are part of the reason I finally came. I have heard a lot of positive feedback about how supportive you have been to your staff, especially nurses.”
Zoe has put her heart and soul into supporting the staff/patients through a really difficult time. Her ongoing efforts and the time she takes to provide a safe space for others to talk is such a valuable tool. She seeks to involve the wider MDT and plan ahead for the future and is so flexible the time she puts in to ensure she is there for all.
Kolade is a new staff member at Norcott Lodge and supported myself alongside other staff members with supporting residents and shows real pride in his work. Kolade supported myself and others recently in a particularly difficult situation, showing his amazing growth in a short period of time. Thank you Kolade.
Ade has been seen to have the strength and determination to rise through tough challenges in the form of providing amazing support to a resident who was hitting out during an incident.
Ade remained supportive/positive and continued to provide the best care possible to de-escalate the situation with good effect. He’s a great asset to our team.
Folake has recently been promoted to Senior Support Worker. She has blossomed into the role and has taken everything I have thrown at her in her stride. She manages to take care of our young people, support staff in all aspects and puts up with me, which is probably the biggest challenge :). Keep going you’ve got this.
