Eleanor always supports staff developmental needs. She organised a session for staff to attend – focusing on gaining a better understanding of the mental health act, and the legal frameworks we all work within. This session encouraged open discussion and provided a great opportunity for our team to develop our knowledge further, incredibly useful!
Emma has worked tirelessly to get a positive outcome for one of our residents who has very complex needs. She’s championed their needs & rights to access services they need to get the best outcome for them. She’s contacted outside agencies, going over & above to coordinate everyone to ensure the best care & outcome for this resident. Thanks Emma
Despite Andrea’s already busy schedule and own workload, she has found time to support the psychology team at Clifton during a challenging and stressful period. She has stepped forward to provide practical and emotional support. She has never failed to be there to talk something through or offer advice, sharing wisdom & compassion – thank-you!
Tim, continuously goes above and beyond to help everyone. Tim has been recognised by outside Contractors as always being, helpful, supportive and approachable. Laura stayed behind the other day to help me with a maximum support as i was unsure how to calm a resident down when she was unsettled. She was patient through the process. One of the service users was having an incident and Laura offered reassurance to help calm her down. Making sure everyone was OK.
A supportive manager we have in Outwood.
Lee is our new Admin who apart from doing his own job will support staff with IT skills and also spends time with the residents talking to them Lee noticed that one of our residents face was swollen and brought it to the TL attention which was checked and then he was to the dentist to have a tooth pulled . Thank you for your help Lee.
Mayo always makes sure he gives a thorough and informative handover every morning. His communication skills are great, followed by his ability to make the whole team smile. We look forward to our handovers every morning because of Mayo’s presence. His energy is contagious and it gives the whole team a boost! Thank you for making handovers so great!
Kayode recently passed his probation and with his hard work, he has become a reliable colleague. He has built good rapport with all our individuals, and in one of many instances, I witnessed how empathetic and patient he was when trying to find out how an individual was feeling due to them not responding. I thought it was a great bonding moment.
Ife has helped move in a new resident into Gotts Park this week, Ife has shown great leadership qualities by supporting the resident during difficult periods of anxieties and showing the team how to de-escalate him and supporting with his care plan to create a positive routine, meaning the resident has had the best start to Gotts Park, thanks Ife!
Princess has been very perceptive and pro-active in managing patient risks on the ward. She does not hesitate to help and assist in moments of patient hostility. She is also a genuine and caring person who is always interested in the well-being of her team members. She has a natural empathy and sense of compassion for staff and service users.
Her dedication to never letting things go meant that she spotted a significant safeguarding concern on one of the wards that resulted in a children’s safeguarding enquiry commencing. She is so devoted to the job and never lets a difficult scenario stop her from caring about the people we work with
