Troy handled the case by balancing the needs of both sides and whilst it was a difficult outcome for a colleague involved, Troy received an email of thanks from the colleague recognising Troys respectful approach.

Thresa is so supportive and extends help whenever possible. She recently co-facilitated a reflective practice to support staff & was very understanding as they were struggling to contact one of the YP’s parents & Thresa supported them with creating a script & a planner that really helped the support staff to establish family contact for the YP.
A patient was recently admitted who had not attended to his own personal hygiene for a prolonged period of time. Emma took her time with the individual to build a rapport, completing small tasks of personal care such as washing face, hands, feet.
Today Emma has managed to encourage the individual to shower for the first time in over one year!

Joseph has a keen interest in music and plays a multitude of instruments. Joseph began completing music therapy sessions with one individual at Norcott Lodge, sparking interests in their own musical hobbies. This has had a life changing impact on the individuals mental health and well-being and I wanted to credit Joseph for his efforts.
Melissa has recently communicated excellent clinical standards in patient records setting the bar for achieving clinical excellence in this area. Working at times as the sole nurse on the ward, Melissa has not let this prevent upholding high standards of clinical record keeping and is setting a wonderful example to colleagues.
