Oresta has been working so hard to build a team on Tiffany ward and despite difficulties and real challenges she is continuing every day. More than being a good leader and clinician she is really connected, compassionate, and kind with the service users. She is such an asset to our hospital.
He has been so helpful with an Arabic-speaking patient, despite us being a different ward and team. He has gone above and beyond giving us support in reviews, even at short notice, and translating plans to Arabic. I am sure this has made a positive impact on the patient and their care.
Nqobizitha is an absolute role model to the whole PICU team. She has led the team to success during most stressful, challenging and demanding times, often which had put a ton of pressure on staff. Nqobizitha has been extremely supportive during those times, always giving 1000% and jumping in to support the team without having to be asked.
Sharon developed/launched the family intervention service, this is the first of its kind in Cygnet and has led a team to complete a programme for families/carers of patients from secure and non-secure services. Sharon has also gone above and beyond to provide support to her patients/team and has often rearranged her days so she can be present
Despite taking on more managerial responsibilities over the past few months, Ummarah has maintained her constant presence on Peplau which I know is massively appreciated and valued by our service users and MDT. She works so hard, juggles a lot, and always has the service users best interests at heart.
A situation arose at Tupwood, where our manager was away for 7 weeks. Nokutula had no choice but to step into her shoes and run the nursing home, picking up untold other jobs to make sure the home was running well. She worked long hours and run the home efficiently. She was very supportive and done a fantastic job, recognition is VERY needed.
A resident who is going through a difficult time and requiring additional support at the moment. There has been a lot of external professionals involved in his care, who have required staff with great rapport to attend meetings and provide input. The level of care and support Fortune has shown throughout this really definitely needs recognising!
Gracie Boci brought the fun to Gotts Park at the Willy Wonka Street Party! Gracie was the DJ, Gracie donated a Karaoke machine to Gotts Park, which was a lovely gesture and said all the residents can use it on the day and for future occasions, thanks to Gracie residents and staff were able to listen to their favourite songs throughout the day.
Brandon supported the service users at Thornfield House on a day trip out to flamingo land to celebrate one of the residents birthdays. The service user enjoyed having his house mates with him and staff celebrating his birthday. he also stayed be hide to help the team leader with finance and support the residents to complete there night routine.
