Sophie has been helping me with my Uni Studies, including me in: Medication and MDT reviews, Sitrep, supervisions etc and ensure i am learning with whatever i am involved in. Janine works hard at finding new adventurous activities for our residents to enjoy and will encourage residents to participate with getting involved and being so jovial. One resident was struggling but with patience and encouragement now enjoys all activities this meant the world to Janine and brought happy tears of joy to her as she was so proud
For over 6months Terry has run the administration whilst being 2 staff down. When a new staff member came she helped her sitting with her and ensured that all the admin was ready and up to date to keep the office running. This she did with a smile everyday and never let it get her down, giving the office 100% everyday. So we liked to say Thanks
Joanna has supported the Finance team and the wards to ensure that they meet an important deadline whilst maintaining her own workload. She has gone above and beyond helping to train and develop others and will always offer her assistance and share her knowledge.
Rachael has set up a weekly drop in session where patients can go for a cuppa offering an informal space to have a 1:1 which has been so helpful for the team and patients alike. Rachael has set up a drop in to provide staff with opportunities to progress their learning in a variety of topics. Rachael always provides a listening ear and advice!
Jasmine goes above & beyond when caring for residents & has built a strong rapport with every residents. Jasmine recently managed to earn a Trust from one of our Autistic residents who didn’t allow her clothes to be washed everyday into allowing her clothes to be washed everyday by all staff member by showing her that she can trust all staff member
Anwer is a very hard working individual. Anwer has worked at Hawkstone for over ten years now. Anwer is a Important and excellent support worker who drives the individuals to their activities and takes part with their individuals needs. Thank you for bringing a smile to everyone on the team it always boosts our spirits when we need it most.
Claire has pushed herself to work with a resident who she had not been that comfortable with previously and has really grown in her ability to support this resident, even when they’ve shown violent behaviours towards her. Claire has also established an incredibly good relationship with another resident, who has said she is a great source of support
Since our manager as left she as kept the team together she as worked really hard she as kept us all on a positive mood and when we ring her she is always available day or night she is a tower of strength to us at Oakwood Gardens and without her we would not be the team.
She has been NIC on many few difficult shifts recently. She is able to bounce back & reflect on the difficulties but then come back with a smile on her face the next shift.
She is super supportive of all staff on shift and makes it her priority to make sure everyone goes home having been offered a debrief. I think she is such a good role model.
Lisa and Eniola are both very new to Outwood and recently supported an individual to the Bakery Project at Kirkside . Whilst they were there another individual was having a difficult time and they were enable to provide them with reassurance and made them feel included which helped the individual turn their day around
Gareth supported a resident to move out of the service . The resident has been at Thornfield for over 10 years so this was emotional for the resident. Gareth showed empathy and care. not rushing the resident to leave the service and giving them time and space to process the big change a head of them. the move went smoothly and the resident is happy
