Ward is going through one of its toughest phases and there are numerous professional and additional meetings which are planned to support the discharge pathway of yps. Amanda works very hard to keep up with all the meetings and timely organising these for the yps and parents. She truly deserves a shout out and a heartfelt thanks from Team Primrose.
Anna’s innovative approach is her involvement of a resident with challenging behaviour in the baking process within their unit. Rather than simply providing finished products, she recognised the therapeutic potential of hands-on participation.
Lori has been doing her own work at present but also the work of the Manager who is off sick at present. Lori is working hard to keep Ellen Mhor running as smoothly as possible at this time and always has time for staff and service users despite her own workload, which appears quite big at present. well done Lori
Nathan left his home and responded to an incident in the community on his day off. Nathan showed passion towards his job and care towards his colleagues and service user. Nathan is always know to go above and beyond in his job.
There is a service user who is 2:1 in the community & doesn’t usually walk places. We are positively risk taking to drop to 1:1 in community and Beth supported this service user to walk from Morrison’s through the centre of town in & out of lots of shops – over 2 miles. She even encouraged her to walk through the market – a huge achievement!
We have a service user who usually refuses to go out. Amanda was allocated to a difference service user but she supported her colleagues in prompting the service user to go on a day trip to the Deep in Hull. The service user was there until 22:00. A massive achievement and the longest this service user has spent outside on external activity!
During a period of time when there was limited psychology provision due to extenuating circumstances, Kelsey did an incredible job of supporting the team and service users. She ensured all service users received quality psychology care and all staff have fed back that they hugely appreciated her insights and reflections in all meetings. Thank you!
Both Evan and Rachel have worked incredibly hard over the last 3 months to contribute to the positive changes at Wyke, despite there being no on site qualified psychologists. They have contributed greatly to staff support, team work and they have also continued to deliver a high level of psychological treatment for all the service users.
Moses as a good relationship with all residents , but one in particular stands out, his re pour , communication and dedication with one individual is amazing , i recently learnt from Moses an easier way to assist the individual with his medication and it works really well for both the individual and myself, well done Moses!
Moses has been recognised by many of his colleagues regarding the care he has been recently given to a particular patient who has been acutely unwell. Moses has ensured that the patient is treat with dignity and respect at all times and shows compassion even when it is a difficult shift.
Thank you Moses for being so amazing!
Yasemin has lead the house well during a difficult few months. She has supported all staff and residents and makes a point of checking in with her staff on a regular basis. Her support and encouragement has a huge impact on the staff and residents. She always finds time to talk if people need it even if she is busy herself. She is amazing.
Ifetayo has shown immense resilience since joining the team at Gotts Park. I have witnessed her managing some really challenging situations in a confident and professional manner. I have also seen her care skills improve over the same period of time. Ife has proved her versatility by adjusting to every situation in which she has been placed.
