
Since taking over as head OT has had 2 roles to cover. Even with the increased work load, has been there to support with the personal and professional crisis of myself and coworkers. Supporting my development and education, helping in her own time.
Stacey’s door is always open for anyone. It doesn’t matter if you need to talk about something to do with work or your personal life, she is always there with a positive outlook and a solution. I only wish I could choose more to nominate her for!
Elena has stepped up into a very demanding role. She supports a therapy programme that involves SO much thought and planning. Elena is new to the OT world and has adapted herself and her work in so many ways. It has been inspiring to manage her.
Tom exudes positivity and always ensures his fellow support workers are supported and happy. One staff quoted ‘Tom should be the man in charge of recruitment for Cygnet because all he does is shout about how much he loves his job’
Sue is the newest member of the team but never fails to offer assistance and support the team, even if it is something she is not overly familiar in. She is always willing to help where she can and remains positive throughout.
Hayley our service manager has been amazing support over the last couple of months, She has found the time to chat to me, support me with anything I need making work and home life feel much better due to the health rollercoaster I have been on.
Since starting on the ward as a qualified nurse Sharmaine has faced several challenges and is currently successfully managing the team and young people dynamics. Sharmaine’s named patient has passed on compliments regarding the 1:1 session and support since becoming her named nurse only 2 weeks ago. This is an amazing achievement, thank you!!!
The care and passion Fernanda shows at work is remarkable. She listens, advocates and actively approaches her role in a way that significantly enhances the quality of life for residents, particularly her key resident. Fernanda’s genuine passion, commitment and determination are integral to supporting our team to be the best it can be for residents.
Libby helped with a SLT assessment for an individual that recently moved into Beckly. It was clear she had got to know them well and could pass on lots of relevant information needed for the assessment. Libby showed she has a passion for getting the care and support right as she has picked up on the subtle non-verbal signs for this individual.
Gracious has shown to her team some great skills in redirection and coping strategies with day to day challenges within the care industry. and always willing to give support to her patients, and staff team no matter how big or small the problem may seem. Gracious is an asset for godden green and her team.
Whilst out in the community supporting a resident on 04/03/2023, Jean witnessed a road traffic accident – dealing with both the emergency and whilst continuing to support the resident in her care. As a team we want to recognize Jean for her amazing response and resilience in dealing with this and for utilising skills learned and BLS training.
I would like to nominate George for the positive approach he has towards pines and the service users we support. we have had really good feedback from other professional that has recognised this, George should be proud of himself for the hard work he puts into his role at pines and continue the good work as it has a positive impact on others.
