
Linda always works very hard, going above and beyond her role and covering other administrative gaps. She is professional, reliable and always willing to work beyond her hours to get the job done. She has received praise from external commissioners for her communication and liaison, acting as a positive face for Alders to others.
Dan works across two sites to maintain the up keep. Dan will often show flexibility at last minute challenges across both sites and often stay over his working hours to ensure the services are safe from damages. Well Done Dan 🙂
Stephen has recently supported a service user on holiday with 2 other staff members. With the service user being on holiday this allowed for his flat to be decorated. This has been the longest holiday for the service user. Thank you Stephen.
Throughout last week we had some very bad snow which resulted in cancellation of public transport and roads too dangerous to drive on. Catherine walked over three hours to Longfield to ensure our residents received the care they require. Thank you and well Done 🙂

Karen is a wonderful team leader and a valued member of the Gledholt staff team. Karen has overcome many challenges lately and has encountered multiple grievances in her personal life but she has not let this stop her and has continued to provide great support to resident’s, her fellow colleagues and everyone else in the service.
Jade thought outside the box while a patient was in distress and struggling to understand information regarding his clothing. Jade took the time and patience to access pictures of a washing machine and put this together in a way for him to understand.
When a colleague took ill at work Carly was quick to respond and get this person the help they needed and she showed true resilience when faced with a difficult situation
Following feedback in our Individual’s Satisfaction Survey, we have created an Engagement Group. The survey found that some of the people we support weren’t sure what the team had done to fix or improve things that mean the most to them. Jodie makes sure the actions from meetings and keyworker chats are done and shared on the You Said We Did board!
James has taken on the role of being a Key-Worker to one of the residents here at Amberwood Lodge, he has worked tirelessly and ploughed all his might in to making positive changes for his resident. Worked hard with the therapy teams to make positive changes and has made a real impact on the resident to enable him to experience new things.
Recently we had a SU who was completely dependent on staff to attend to Activities of daily living (eating, personal care, getting in and out out of bed and toileting). Rose supported this SU with so much empathy always with a smile on her face. Never shied away even when the task was tough. When with SU, she is present physically, mentally
Joanna is truly an asset to Appletree. The hard work and dedication she puts into helping others day in day out never goes unnoticed. Joanna is an amazing advocate for patients and will always ensure they are getting the level of care they deserve. She is also a great colleague who is there for a debrief and to raise your spirits whenever you need.
