Gary is exceptionally positive. Some of his achievements are, been exceptionally positive to a confused service user who may be transgender. Gary has displayed a positive attitude with no prejudice. All service users like Gary and their excitement can be seen from the moment he enters the building and are sad when he leaves.
We had a gentleman admitted with a item which helps his sensory needs, this became damaged. Ellie took this home to sew it and repaired the item for him.
Becky puts so much effort in to everything she does, whether it be her regional lead role, clinical work, spreading her knowledge of Occupational Therapy to the staff, or coming up with new and innovative ideas to motivate the individuals in her care. She leads by example by always working hard, whilst always making time for her team!
Kristy is a great support to the whole team at Manor. She is always available should anyone need a chat, supervision or debrief, will take on any task without question, and will always help supporting the team on the ward when necessary. She is a natural leader and manages her Assistants and Honorary Assistants in a supportive and nurturing way.
Ammie started as an Assistant Psychologist in June 2021, and since then has become an integral part of the Manor team! She engages the patients, manages the facilitation of Patient of the Month sessions, which ensures communication between the staff team, and is enrolling on the BPS Stage 2 Forensic Psychology Qualification in April!
Fred had brought diversity to the house with his promotion of LGBTQ+ inclusion and his push for black lives matter to be recognised by all. All respect his beliefs on these issues and he has made people aware of pronoun usage to include all the minorities as true allie.
Everyday Kelly puts 110% effort when at work. Kelly goes above and beyond for all of the resident’s at Outwood. Kelly communicates enthusiastically with all of the residents. Kelly uses Makaton and her body language to engage with the residents. The resident’s are always happy, smiling and vocalising when they’re with Kelly.
Jamil deserves recognition for his hard work at Walkern Lodge in the absence of the Service Manager. He support the team through both local authority and CQC inspections to GOOD outcomes. Also continuously supporting services Chaseways and Shear Meadow. Never shies away from stepping up and helping. We really appreciate him!
Claire has come so far whilst being with us, first a Support Worker, stepping up to be Acting Team Leader, shes works so hard for the residents always putting them first, making sure everyone has a smile on their faces with her corny jokes, shes deserves recognition for all her hard work and how she has grown in her role. she is an asset
Louise is the heart of Gledholt, she supports staff and those around her. She has a kind heart and is always open to listen, support or advise if needed.
She brightens the day with her warmth & passion, she also created a positive atmosphere. not only does her job to an amazing standard, she contributes and enables others to achieve their best.
Malcolm has a passion in his role of Activity Coordinator he is very pro active and passionate about all our residents care. Malcolm ensures that activities do not stop & brings in new ideas & equipment etc on his shifts and others to ensure all residents remain occupied & engaged during the day/evenings.

Keith has been seen to have the strength and determination to rise through tough challenges in the form of providing amazing support to a resident who had hit out during an incident.
He has remained supportive/positive and continued to provide the best care possible to de-escalate the situation with good effect.
