
We recently introduced pink notes at Kirkside Lodge. Danny went above and beyond in supporting his team to get familiar with the new system. Danny used his own previous experiences to spend some 1:1 time with staff to support them with notes!
Devon Lodge has faced hard times with staffing and Becky has been very supportive and worked hard to support new staff and agency. Since coming over to Devon Lodge, to cover the home temporally, Becky has made me feel welcome and been supportive.
He’s a fairly new member of staff but has fit into the team well. I was working at another Cygnet site and a huge incident broke with a new admission to the service. Adil came to support the service and manage the incident.
John helped to support a service user through an anxious time when an important blood test was required. He helped to keep her calm and focussed in the build up to the community team attending.
A service user needed a blood test which has always taken place in hospital in the past. Today, with Ann-Marie’s support and reassurance, the test was successfully taken at home. She helped the community team who were pleased with how it was planned.
Gary has worked tirelessly over the last month without a senior OT in place. Gary has continued to provide therapy and support to the men we care for, displaying resilience and he is not afraid to work hard, he is an asset to Team Fountains.

Despite having busy shifts to run and manage Katie always steps up to help out where she can. During a recent period of self isolation for the ward manager Katie stayed in touch and helped oversee things the ward manager couldn’t. Thanks Katie!
Whenever there is an incident with a service user Dee is the first one to step in and step in front of any staff that are being attacked to protect them and prevent injury. Dee handles challenging behaviour with firmness and effectiveness to deescalate.

Cheryl was on hand to respond to an allergy/choking incident involving Manager, Nita Roper. Nita said Cheryl knew exactly what to do and helped keep her calm while other help arrived before Nita went to A&E. Nita claims that Cheryl is a life saver.
