
I have regularly witnessed Paul deescalating fractious situations in a very caring and empathetic way with our Service Users. We regularly receive high compliments about Paul for both his technical and caring abilities. He deserves to be recognised.
Clare has had some challenging shifts recently, there have been incidents which have effected her but she has remained professional and dealt with them as her role required and returned to shift the next day with the mindset of today is a new day!
During a recent incident on a medium secure PD ward Samantha stayed 5 hours after her shift during crisis to help aid negotiations with a patient which could of ended fatally. Samantha put her patient before herself and cared for him when needed most.
Christine is able to see a problem from the individual’s point of view. She is able to think outside the box to find a solution for the problem. Offers to come to work on her day off to support anxious service users attending important healthcare appointments.
Lucy had a lot thrown on her in the past few months, she falls and she gets up each time. Many people would not guess that life keeps testing her really hard. Myself and others admire her, she is pleasure to work with.
Trish runs a staff lottery. From each winning, a small sum is left aside, so residents at Oaks can get something special for Christmas. She managed to save about £500 last year. She always has kind word for everyone, and makes them feel appreciated.
Louise joined the Wyke Buddy Scheme which is an onsite support network for staff. Louise was also an active member of The Breakfast Club we ran in 2020 and provided Breakfast to 600 children in our community for families in crisis during Covid.

I am a new Deputy Manager and the service has gone through some difficulties at the moment. Chantelle ensured that she has given me all the support to be able to do my job. She consistently offers me support whilst allowing me to make decisions.
