Camille is an inspirational role model to the staff here at Blackheath, nothing is ever to much, always smiling, always willing to help. She always puts every other person first & never expects anything in return. 1st in and last out everyday.
Lynda Willis worked alone on shift whilst short staffed, been going through a hard time personally but still comes in works hard daily and gets on with the job that needs doing.
Patients are at the centre of her focus and nothing gets in the way.

Lisa is very proactive in planning events for the service users at Beckly. She has helped to organise activities such as BBQ’s, the Pride event and the Afternoon Tea. Lisa will make sure photos are taken and displayed to show everyone having fun.
Megan was stranded taking a patient on an island day trip. She worked to find solutions, including finding a place to stay, avoid distress for him and trying to source medication. She kept a cheery, positive attitude despite the unplanned stopover.
Andrew is always willing to be flexible in his approach to his working pattern, he will regularly swap and change his shift pattern to meet the needs of service users and skills mix. He will come into work to drive for unit needs on days off.
I have a very selfless and supportive Clinical Service Manager who truely cares for her staff wellbeing and patients. In the face of very high acuity on the wards she has supported the team and worked tirelessly to ensure that our patients were safe.
Jade is very passionate about her role, going above and beyond for residents. Recently she supported a resident shopping late in the night, staying late to help relieve extreme anxieties. Parents were thrilled that their daughter felt better. Thank you.
Izzy is such a hard worker and always up for a challenge. With recent staffing difficulties Izzy has taken on many roles to support the service including bed management, nursing, Ward Manager duties, training and supporting senior management.
One of our S/U’s has not left the site on foot since 2018 when he moved in. Hardy has worked and built up a therapeutic relationship with him to the point where there was enough trust there for him to feel confident to walk to the shops with her.
Lorenzo has worked extremely hard to build a therapeutic relationship with a very complex individual. He has identified residents needs and worked alongside SSW to purchase a car for him to access the community more, to ensure better quality of life
Ang has worked endlessly to ensure she does the best for the residents. Ange has worked alongside an appointee and arranged for a car for this individual to access the community as he is reluctant to access community (Not accessed since 2018).
