Sarah has worked tirelessly over the last month without a senior OT in place. Sarah has continued to provide therapy and support to the men we care for, displaying resilience and is not afraid to work hard. Sarah is an asset to Team Fountains.
Despite having busy shifts to run and manage Katie always steps up to help out where she can. During a recent period of self isolation for the ward manager Katie stayed in touch and helped oversee things the ward manager couldn’t. Thanks Katie!
Whenever there is an incident with a service user Dee is the first one to step in and step in front of any staff that are being attacked to protect them and prevent injury. Dee handles challenging behaviour with firmness and effectiveness to deescalate.

The passion that Hayley has for her job shines through, Hayley is always looking for new ideas on how to engage the patient to receive the best care. Hayley goes the extra mile and this can be seen in all the positive changes that have been made.
Cheryl was on hand to respond to an allergy/choking incident involving Manager, Nita Roper. Nita said Cheryl knew exactly what to do and helped keep her calm while other help arrived before Nita went to A&E. Nita claims that Cheryl is a life saver.
Jamie is always the go to person to help with shift cover and swapping shifts. Nothing is ever too much of an ask for him. He always does what is best for the service. Jamie will come in last minute and is always happy and positive when at work.
Andy has spent time working with one of our young residents, building a relationship which has led to this young person feeling confident enough to open up about issues which have been worrying him for a long time that he has never confided in anyone.
Carol has always gone above & beyond for service users & her colleagues. She continuously works out of her remit, to empower and support everyone she can. She is very person centered and takes her time to get to know each individual. Also very fun!
Dr Thamburaja has developed a weekly training package for our nurses and to ensure that this is available to as many nurses as possible she is delivering this in her own time in the evenings. The feedback from the sessions has been very positive.
Regardless what’s thrown at Alison she gets back up and supports her team. Since January 2019 she has built up a fantastic hospital and team. So thank you Alison for building a great hospital and team. Stand tall and keep doing what you do so well.
Kelsey took time out of her day and made the effort to teach a service user how to ride a bike. Kelsey deserves to be recognised for the support and encouragement she provided. I’m sure the service user was also really grateful!
