Wife and 2 month old baby who he hasn’t met yet was coming to visit. Colleague was covering his shift and cancelled at the last minute. Godfrey attended his shift as not to leave his colleagues short for the day. that’s some work ethic.
Yvonne is well known for being a person who is good to talk with. I can’t think about better person to be a First Aid Mental Health Ambassador and Cygnet Values Ambassador. Her drop- in sessions are always very popular among staff. Kind & supportive.
Since joining the team a couple of months ago as a newly qualified RMN, Holly has just gone from strength to strength, taking everything in her stride. She has become a valued member of the team on PICU and an asset to the ward.
Anika is a very hard worker and always goes the extra mile to help new staff. Anika often cooks meals for a large number of service users which everyone enjoys. Anika is a great role model for new staff and a great support worker!
Holly has grown from being a very good support worker to becoming an excellent Senior Support Worker. She now plans to further her career with Cygnet as an Associate Practitioner (trainee nurse). She is highly dedicated and will make a great nurse
Ashley could be nominated for any one of these characters, but she is hard working and always willing to stay late and help complete any outstanding work that needs to be done, especially written notes. She is a huge asset to the team.
Jon has been working at Willow for only a short period of time and already you can see a difference he has made to the place, with his hard work, passion, empathy to listen, the communication he has for the individuals we support.
John is a valued staff at Beckly who will check the rota for extra shifts which helps our service & when our residents are feeling anxious he will implement techniques such as playing spa/mindfulness music creating a calming environment to help relax
Ann is a great long standing staff & encourages residents to take part in different activities when on leave. Ann has nominated herself to support one of our residents every week to ensure he goes swimming which is something really meaningful to him.
Sharon is our smiling face on Reception. She supports the patients, helps out the support staff and is our freedom to speak up ambassador. She takes her role seriously and continues to create and maintain amazing documentation for all our meetings.
Claire is always ready to listen to her colleagues, comfort them and provide them with support. She is a fantastic mentor and gives guidance when its needed while also enabling her OT team to grow and develop their skills.
Riah has recently joined the OT team and has demonstrated her passion for providing individualised and meaningful care to her service users, encouraging them to be the best people they can be and to strive for their occupational goals.
