
Emma is a gem to work with. Multiple patients have expressed how much they enjoy spending time with her. Emma provides a calm and supportive environment for patients which helps them access their rehab therapies.
Andrew has had a really difficult time personally. He continues to come to work and be a supportive, caring and hard working colleague. Andrew is very valued by all!
Jehoshaphat joined our team as an international nurse, and has really thrown himself into learning all he can. He has been responsive to feedback, and proactive in developing his skills in a new environment. Lovely to see how his confidence has grown
Adele is a new member of staff at beckiy and she is progressing everyday within her job role she recently has been working with the residents which are more challenging, and has a very positive attitude and her confidence is growing every day.
Aimee has been a support worker for a relatively short time, she is now one of our senior support workers. She has overcome many hurdles in her own life but continues to support our service users with a fun, vibrant and empathic approach to care.
Claire is able to communicate with our service users in a really special person centred way. She has a special rapport with a non-communicative service user. Her makaton skills have really helped him and the rest of the team to communicate with him.
Alyson is fairly new to the site and she offered another colleague a place to stay in her home over the festive period. she did this because they boiler had broke and couldn’t get anyone out to look at this problem straight away. (Caring & supportive
Faye goes above and beyond in ensuring that the Service Users at Lewisham Lodge have clean bed linen and clean clothes, working alongside my Housekeeping team ensuring personal hygiene is top of the list.
Lucy demonstrated an empathetic approach to an ex-service user when they presented themselves at our hospital seeking help. Lucy ensured all procedures were followed however, still provided an excellent level of care and empathy.
Following having a shortage of Team leaders at Site, Patricia has worked extremely hard to go above and beyond her role completing the duties of two team leaders on shift and always willing to go the extra mile.. all with a smile on her face 🙂
Jade has offered to come to Beacon House to support the service whilst having a shortage of team leaders. Jade got stuck straight in, had a positive attitude and also provided much needed support to the team leaders of Beacon. Great team work! 🙂
Sarah is always on hand to help her colleagues out. She regularly provides a listening ear and chocolate to help to lift the morale of the team. She has now started to bring her therapy dog in to work which has helped support staff and service users
