Anna has a passion for her work and is also inspiring others in the team with her enthusiasm. She’s making Multi sensory story resources (amongst other things) that all the residents will be able to access. She’s so positive, we’re lucky to have her
Elise has recently gone above and beyond to support a long-stay service user with a complex discharge. She paid attention to every detail and offered so much support throughout to help to make the transition as smooth and easy as possible!
Dr Sarah has been an absolute STAR & has helped cover all 4 wards within the CAMHS service covering leaves of other Doctors. She has been AMAZING in supporting not only the teams but the Young people too. We really wouldn’ have managed without her!!
Vicky has put in an astounding effort in creating some first-class menus for residents to use! She took responsibility for taking photos of all the meals prepared by the kitchen over 4 weeks so that all the residents can now make choices more easily.
Jamie has been a brilliant support in developing a communication-friendly environment at Hollyhurst. He has happily taken projects under his wing alongside his day (and sometimes night!) job, and is great at keeping us SLTs updated. Thanks, Jamie!
Molly worked on the ward throughout the pandemic & has more recently been working alone on the ward following the second nurse moving to the NHS. Despite working alone Molly has continues to show maximum effort & empathy with the patents & her team
Kate has worked around the clock supporting Bierley with their CQC action plan, whilst supporting other QAMs, and still supporting other sites. Kate is always supportive, approachable and will go above and beyond for the services and her colleagues.
Catherine is always ready to respond to the rescue alarm even when she is not working putting herself at the frontline to support staffs and service users. Catherine will still come for her regular shift hen injured from an incident. Kudos dear
In the past few months, Kirsty has had a lot to deal with in her personal life. She has dealt with this so well and continued to show resilience and support to patients and colleagues and always shines a positive light on every shift.
Amanda at the beginning of the year offered without prompting to deal with complaints received from the CQC, these need daily attention. This was not part of her role and an enormous help whilst I was in the process of recruiting a new team member.
Juliana explained to me at the start of the first aid course I was delivering that her husband had collapsed the week before and she had attempted CPR but was not successful. She however showed great resilience during the session to demonstrate CPR.
Niamh came in to work on a Saturday, her day off, to help our maintenance team paint the garden fence! Niamh even brought her dog in to see our residents which they all loved
